Why I Said No to Investors

I'm all about stripping it back, keeping your business really simple, not needing to have investment and all of that like you say, that weight on your shoulders of other people. And I think I could have got investment for Bendy Legs and it's a great product and a great brand and with the how people that I then went into that we'll talk about in a minute. But that again I think because because there was me and Polly were behind it. People do invest in the the humans behind the business. Right. And I think we could have gone out there and got investment but we didn't want that over us and that's okay. And actually as a mum and as somebody that travels and as somebody that lives differently, I work around the kids, around school holidays, school hours. I don't want to be answering to anybody. I don't want to have somebody with lots of money invested in my business who can make decisions. I want to make decisions myself.
