Essentially, I did medicine because somebody told me I couldn't. So I went to my chemistry teacher, said to him, I'm going to do medicine. And he kind of fell about laughing and said, that's never going to happen. You're never going to be a doctor. And I thought, well, actually, you. I think retrospectively there was a little bit of belligerent, you know, don't tell me I can't do something. And that has continued. There's a pattern there, right? Sort of proving somebody wrong in there. But actually, it's only now, again, with that reflection, that I. That it all makes sense for me now, because I'm now doing. I wouldn't be able to do what I am doing now so organically and so sort of authentically if I wasn't a doctor. And I have had the most incredible opportunities. Life, travel, friends, learning. I mean, I do think being a doctor is the biggest privilege, you know, as a gp, somebody opens the door, sharing their innermost secrets, worries with you and being able to help them.
