AI Shorts Outperform Human Editors - Our StreamYard Experiment

In this unscripted weekly podcast segment, Muhammad Umar explains how his team, together with colleague Merhan, leverages StreamYard’s AI to automatically generate 8‑10 short clips (shots/shorts) from a typical 50‑minute episode. StreamYard tags each clip, assigns a probability of virality, and suggests titles, allowing the team to simply upload the AI‑selected shorts. Umar reports that these AI‑generated shorts consistently receive far more views than the shorts produced manually by their dedicated human editing team. He also references a dashboard used to monitor short performance, underscoring the efficiency and impact of the AI‑driven workflow.
