Chapters
When it comes to empowering your voice, do you build play into it? Do you play with your voice, or is it just a tool that you use and expect it to be there? How does playing with your voice sound? It could be as simple as laughing a lot, or it could be as simple as playing with pitch so that sometimes you talk high and sometimes you talk low. Or you can do deliberate playful exercises, which I call playground exercises, like sounding like a swing set, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, or a teeter-totter, woo-woo-woo-woo. You can do playful things with your voice to keep your voice healthier and also just to know that it's there for you when you need it. Playing with your voice has more benefits than you could ever imagine.
