In this instructional video, career coach Natalie Fisher addresses recent graduates and other entry‑level job seekers who struggle to secure interviews despite strong academic backgrounds. She outlines a three‑step interview strategy: (1) shift from competing for posted vacancies to actively creating opportunities, noting that roughly 85% of offers arise from self‑generated leads; (2) present a high‑value, confident persona during interviews by aligning body language, language, and self‑perception with the compensation level you aim to earn; (3) prepare thoroughly for salary‑negotiation conversations, researching market rates and rehearsing value‑articulation. Fisher reinforces her advice with personal credibility from roles at Amazon, FLEER Systems, and X Matters, and she promotes a free, downloadable workbook that provides interview‑answer formulas, top‑10 behavioral question templates, fill‑in‑the‑blank guides, and story‑generation prompts. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action to download the guide and a friendly sign‑off.

Hey there! So in this video, you're gonna learn how to make sure you're getting interviews for the jobs you want. You're gonna learn how to face your interviews confidently and make sure that you're setting yourself up for success. And you're going to learn the thing that most people screw up on the first time and how to prepare for it so you don't. So I'm Natalie Fisher, and I specialize in helping freshers who have worked hard in the classroom and done everything right but are still not getting those job offers that they had hoped for. So I'm going to help you reach your full potential and get into higher-level roles a lot faster. So you don't have to wait 10 years. We can do it right now. Stay tuned. What does it take to really find a dream role, even if you lack experience, a job that you look forward to each morning, a job that when you're in the shower and you're getting ready for work, you're excited thinking about the projects and the meetings that you've got going on that day instead of what many people face, which is boredom and dread. I've worked at places like Amazon, FLEER Systems, X Matters, and I've been on the other side of that table, so I can tell you what it's going to take for you and how to shortcut your path to do it. So let's start with how to make sure you're getting interviews for the jobs that you want. So the first step is create opportunities instead of competing for them. So you can have an unlimited amount of interviews lined up if you wanted to. If you're struggling to get interviews in the first place, or you're probably not getting job offers, it's because you're competing for opportunities instead of creating them for yourself. And this means that your strategy for career is broken and you're going to get left behind. So in this day and age, you need to learn how to be creating your own opportunities instead of fighting for the scraps that thousands of people are already applying for. So 85% of job offers comes from creating opportunities for them, and that means that there's only 15% that are actually posted. So think about that for a second. That's a lot of people competing for that tiny 15% of jobs, and if you're in that pile of people, you're going to have a hard time getting through. So the second part of this step is how to face your interviews with confidence. You need to assess who are you being in your interviews. So who are you when you show up, and are you the person who earns $60,000, $70,000, $80,000? Do you show up that way? Who are you being and how would a person who earns that amount of money, who's worth that to the company, how would they show up? What are the messages that you want to get across to the hiring panel and how are you showing up in your body language and in the words that you're using? So thirdly, the thing that most people screw up on on their first time is how to be prepared for that money conversation. So you need to be confident in standing in your worth. Even if right now you're not super confident about it and you don't know what your worth is yet, you need to do the research before you go. So because when they offer you the job and when they decide they want to hire you, then you're going to need to be prepared for that conversation and you're going to need to know how to maneuver and handle that money conversation in a way that is skillful. So if you're not focusing on your entire strategy, then you're going to get left behind. And you're going to end up fighting for those jobs and struggling for a long time. So if you'd like to continue to learn from me, I have put together a free resource that you're welcome to download. So in the guide, you're going to learn the key part of the whole interview strategy, which includes answering some of the key questions that you can use to connect and show your value with ease to the hiring panel. You're going to get an in-depth look at the formula that will make sure that you're communicating your value with each question that you answer.
