In this instructional video, Natalie Fisher outlines a four‑step networking framework designed to help job seekers secure interviews and job offers. First, she advises viewers to identify and reach out to "key people"—including strangers—who could influence their career goals, emphasizing the need to think beyond existing contacts. Second, she stresses the importance of having meaningful conversations by asking targeted questions such as who to speak with and which companies to consider, noting that consistent dialogue increases the chance of useful information. Third, she recommends a disciplined follow‑up routine: staying in touch, sharing valuable content, and positioning oneself as a helpful, future‑employee‑type resource rather than a one‑off requester. Fourth, she urges a detached, non‑needy mindset, treating networking as an exploratory, fun activity focused on helping others, which she claims leads to more organic opportunities. Natalie backs the framework with her personal experience of landing a job through networking, then promotes a free workshop that provides scripts, templates, and tools for implementing the process. The video concludes with a call to like, subscribe, and visit her website.

In this video, I'm going to give you the framework of the process I take my clients through to networking, with the end goal being a job offer, in some cases multiple job offers. So stay tuned. Number 1, we find the key people and connect with them. Not necessarily people that you already know. The important thing to remember here is that if you already knew somebody who could land you your dream job, you probably would have already connected with them. And the first thing you need to do is rack your brain for anybody who who you might have not connected with who might be able to help you. So first step is understanding that you need to reach out to people that you don't know. Second thing is you're going to need to have some meaningful conversations with people and ask them some key questions. So some good examples of some questions to ask are, who should I be speaking to if I want to get a job in this industry? What companies should I be looking at if I want to get a job in this industry? Basically, ask people some questions so that they can help you move towards your goal. And if they've agreed to meet with you and to speak with you, the likelihood is they're going to do everything they can to give you useful information. Now remember that not everybody's going to have useful information or have what you need, but you have to keep talking to more people in order to get where you want to go. So remember, just because one person doesn't hand you a job offer, it doesn't mean the process doesn't work. Third thing, you need to consistently keep in touch with people. So you need to follow up personally, have discussions with people on a regular basis, and keep them consistent as, you know, you're not just reaching out to people when you want something, but you're reaching out to keep in touch, you're sending them useful information, and you're just showing up as that person who provides value, who contributes, who would be a great employee when a job opening opens up. So the 4th thing, you need to detach yourself from the process. So a lot of people will go into it thinking that, you know, they want to get a job right away. They're very needy, they're very graspy and desperate, and they don't know that they're doing this, but they're kind of being weird about it. They are asking questions coming from a very needy, graspy energy, coming from a desperate place. And so what you need to do is detach from the process and have fun with it and go into it with the mindset of, I'm going to be meeting some new people here, I'm going to be exploring some new companies, gathering some information, and I'm going to be having some fun with it, and I'm going to be detached in the process, but I'm going to have a high intention to help people when I can, right? I'm going to be looking for ways to help people out. I'm going to be making some great connections. This process is going to be fun. I'm going to have some great conversations, but I'm not going to be hanging on for dear life to get a job. And if I don't, then I'm going to think that, you know, nothing works. This is the problem that a lot of people face. So when you come from it from this mindset, when you come from a place of not being attached to any outcome but just freely having these conversations, more opportunities will start to flow to you. I can speak from experience here because I personally networked my way to a job, and it never would have happened without the process I'm teaching you here. And I want you to understand the power of networking as well, because when you have this control over your career, you can really make things happen.
