So one thing I really like to do when I'm driving for dollars is if I see a really distressed house, I will actually go knock on the door and leave a note. Okay, this house is kind of scary, but, um, whatever, you know, I'm not going to try and go inside. It says it's going to shoot me if I try to go inside, so I'm not going inside. But anyway, that's something I like to do because sometimes a lot of people will just mark the properties and try and call and text. For me, I'll go talk to the seller or the homeowner if they're there. I'll leave a note so they can hit me up. Are you selling? I am a buyer in the area. Call me. So the reason why I have a little notepad is not everyone answers the door even if they're home. So I leave a little note saying, hey, I'm looking to buy a house, just give me a call. Again, the reason why I do this is, you know, if you just mark the property and it looks really distressed and you don't, you know, talk to the person, the chances you get a hold of them, pretty slim. Obviously you can skip trace it and you can call it, but what I do is I like to talk to them or try to get a hold of them, and if not, leave a note.
