You're jumping in, why am I going to Costco? Again, gift card. But anyways, I can get you direct contact info. Well, let's go check out those gift cards. I know they got some stuff to Ruth's Chris. I don't know if you've ever heard of Ruth's Chris. It's a really nice restaurant out here. Uh, maybe we'll get her that. She does like food. Um, who knows though. All right, time to get— time to get my card checked. All right, let's go. Hello, there you go. I'm in my favorite store. What do we got, man? I always like seeing the TVs right when I walk in because, uh, I'm telling you, they're just getting cheaper and cheaper. $379 for a giant TV, 86 inches, $949. Are you kidding me? I bought a 55-inch a couple years ago for like $700. Now I can get you can get a freaking giant one for, uh, like, what, $900? It's nuts. All right, guys, yo, tell me where you're watching from too. If you're watching this live, tell me what's up. Um, so we're going directly to the gift cards again. We're here because I'm getting my escrow officer that helps us do— we've done tons of deals with her. She's always awesome to work with, so I'm gonna give her a freaking gift card. And then while I'm here, I might just get some— maybe a rotisserie chicken at the Costco, maybe get a hot dog. We'll see. But you gotta go find them. Get— oh, those there, those are the gift cards over there. Yeah, if you're watching this live, tell me where you're watching from so we can connect. But yeah, if you've never gotten gift cards here at Costco, they're great deals. Freaking about to show you guys right here. I'm about to get this gift. This— oh, nice. All right, maybe you guys can help me decide. So as you guys can see, it's like they're like $79, so it's $80, but you get 4 gift cards for $25. So you pay $80, but you get $100. That's a deal. All right, so we got Tucano's Brazilian Grill. I've been to Tucano's. This— I It's not that good. Cupbop? Nah. Um, honey baked ham? Nah. Oh, you know, I love a good Ruth's Chris. Have you guys ever been to Ruth's Chris? That's— oh, I do like Einstein Bagels too. And they're $40 and you, uh, get 5. So it's all like, you basically, you spend Uh, you spend $30, you get a $50 gift card. You spend $80, you get $100. I'm gonna get her two— oh, Crumble! Two Crumble cookies. Those are good too. Dave Buster's, Spa Finder. All of these are great. What do we got? Stack 571. Never even heard of it. Thaumi. Vietnamese food. Pig, Jelly in a Jar, Costa Vida. Okay, I think we found the winners. I'm gonna get her one to Costa Vida. Okay, you guys haven't been to Costa Vida? It's a bomb restaurant. It's just like good Mexican food. I like it. It's not like the traditional Mexican food that's like real, it's like Americanized. That's good. I'm gonna get her one of those. Four gift cards, that's $100 or $80. I'm gonna get her a little nice Ruth's Chris, you know, she can go get a nice fake, you know. So if you guys think that's legit, where is it? There we go. Thank you, Christina. You're the best escrow officer. GT Title. You guys, uh, are in Utah, you need an escrow officer, she's the one to go to. But anyway, we— I got the hand— you— I wrote the handwritten letter, so, you know, say hey, thank you. Got some gift cards. And now look, next time you do a deal Go ahead, say thank you. Yeah, you know, they do a lot. Escrow officers do extra— escrow officers do a ton. They help you out. And, uh, so yeah, stay grateful. I'm not showing you guys this live to flex, like, and just be like, oh, I'm always so grateful and you guys should be like me. No, I'm doing this so you guys can see that, uh, Well, I guess, I guess I am doing it just— well, I'm not just doing it to prove that I'm like awesome. I just want to show you guys that Costco— I, I like Costco, okay? I think this is decent content, to be honest. I was like, hey, I love Costco, might as well film myself, and might as well show you the amazing gift cards. And I gotta go shopping anyway, and I'm not working at the office, so I might as well make some content. And that's kind of counts as work. So anyway, Yo, I got someone saying that's legit. I don't know what you mean by that's legit. Do you mean like, uh, the Costco gift cards are legit? Like that you spend $80 and you get $100? Is that what you mean? Because I would say that is legit. I spent $160, I spend and I get, uh, $200 worth of, uh, of gift cards. That, that is freaking dope. Purchase two $50 gift cards for— yeah, $100 spent. Sorry, $200. You get $200, you spend $160. That's what's up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no. Yeah, thanks. You're saying that it's legit getting the gift cards? Yeah, no, totally, totally is legit. One, so it's $160 for $200 worth of cards, you know. And I think gift cards, uh, you know, means a lot. Yeah, it means It's like, uh, it makes you feel all nice and fuzzy inside. If I just gave her $200, then, you know, that might not be that, uh, exciting. But now she can use it on, you know, Costa Vida. She can use it on Bruce Chris, go get a nice steak, maybe some mashed potatoes, get whatever she needs to get. Um, so if you guys, um, they are huge. They are. But that's, that's actually not the specific gift card that she's getting, it's just like you take it to the front and then they give you the gift card. So that's why they're like breaking big. We got someone saying, friend, thanks for being live. You know, I wanted to go live because I want you guys to know I'm a real person with real feelings and I love and I care. You know, sometimes I feel like people can't connect with, with the people that just yap on social, like even if they're real people. Guys, in front of the rotisserie chickens. If you haven't gotten a rotisserie chicken, head on over to Costco. They're money. Um, whoa, these things are huge. Yo, you know how you know like the best ones to get is if like they're at the top? Like if you can see the chicken resting at the top, like touching the top of the plastic, that's how you know it's the one to get. So I always look And I always look and see which ones are freaking touching the top so I know which ones are the biggest ones. So where I gotta— you guys can come shop with me, I don't, I don't mind. Let's see, this one's huge. That's— I think it's the biggest one in there. All right, we're going for this one. Freaking weighs about 20 pounds. All right, where else? Want to kill two birds with one stone, make content and shop at the same time. Uh, let's see. I send you a message about a property, can't wait to hear back. Cool, thanks for sending me that message about that property. What about it? Let's talk about it live. What, what do you got? Tell me, is it a property you have under contract? Or what? Oh guys, I don't know if you've ever tried this one, but the peanut butter chocolate pie, amazing. Look at that, so dang good. And then you got the lemon meringue cheesecake. Oh, I'm getting it, I'm getting excited. That sounds freaking delicious. I gotta go buy some pistachios. I've been eating a lot of pistachios lately. MBR, what's BR? I can't even think of what that would mean. BR, it's mine, heir to my dad's. Okay, shoot. Let's see, you were just on a wholesaler's YouTube page, whose was it? I saw it last night, I noticed it went live and their channel were showing it. Whose channel was that? You said I went live last yesterday on the The CEO says that you saw me live on someone's YouTube channel. I don't know, man. The other day? I wouldn't know. I don't think I went live. Uh, maybe it was, uh, hmm, is it Deal Machine or was it, uh, um, who did I just talk with and put some content out? Was it RJ Bates? Tell me. I don't know. Baton Rouge. Okay, Baton Rouge, got it. That's— yeah, thanks for having me on my back on that one a couple days ago. I just noticed it last night. Okay, yeah, I'm always, I'm always trying to collaborate, guys. Like, if you want to get big in wholesaling in your business or anything, you just got to network with people. So, uh, yeah, always be trying to connect with people and give value. Right now I'm looking for some protein bars and my pistachios. You're saying full reno on that property? We'll have to look at my Facebook Messenger and see a little bit more details. If you go to sellyourdeal.io, S-E-L-L-Y-O-U-R deal dot I-O, that's my website. If you submit deals to that website, then it goes straight to my team and we can look at them and run the numbers. Um, that would be my recommendation for you if you have a deal versus just DMing me, because sometimes I am not able— some of the DMs I'm not able to look at. I get a lot. So, um, look guys, I'm shopping while I'm talking to you. If you haven't had these, these Costco Kirkland protein bars, I love them. They're really— apparently they're healthy. I never know these days. But yeah, they're good. Oh, sorry about that. I'm gonna grab some pistachios. Oh, hi. Where are the dang nuts? Where are the pistachios? Does anyone else have a question while I'm live shopping at Costco? Might as well. Might as well answer your deepest, darkest questions. Live. Yeah, of course. Yeah, just submit that deal and then I'll be able to look at it, or the team will look at it. You know what's actually expensive these days is nuts. Nuts are expensive. I'm about to go find out how much these are right here. So we got some roasted almonds. Those are good, but I like pistachios. Oh, sorry again. Oh, hi. No, you're okay. We are just looking for some pistachios. Okay, what do we got here? $13.49 for some pistachios. I feel like that's a lot for pistachios, but I guess you get a lot. What is this one? Might be cheaper. Nah, it ain't cheaper. What do we got? "What's it like having a team doing real estate? I want to have a team for wholesaling soon." What's it like? That's a great question. I would say it enables you to do more, right? I'm at Costco right now getting a gift card for escrow officer because I have a team. If I didn't have a team, I'd probably be having to hit the phones, but I delegated and been able to get my team to do the things that obviously they're in charge of. Now I think what you need to realize is if you do do a team, you have to grow. You gotta— you can't grow too fast. You can't just like hire like 2 acquisitions people, 2 disco people, and like all this marketing all at once. Like you have to gradually grow into it because that's— when I first started, I like tried to just get everyone all at once and it just like was really hard to manage and it blew, blew up. So yeah, you got to make sure you do it slowly, efficiently, and effectively. But no, having a team is good, but I would say a smaller team is the way to go because if you get too big, if you get a team too big, it's going to be tough to manage. And plus you want to stay profitable. If you have like too many employees, too much overhead, it's, uh, you know, quickly you can get yourself in a tough spot. So I would say a small team and make sure everybody knows their role and is efficient and effective versus trying to hire a ton of people that are just not as effective as one person could be. One acquisition closer could be sufficient versus having, what, like 3 that are not as good as the one. Obviously, this is common sense. Everybody. But yeah, what is it? Today's a Friday at 11 o'clock. It's pretty busy here. My goodness, running into people. Yeah, James Hodge from RE Game Changers made that mistake. Yeah, yeah, I know. I've chatted with James Hodge. Cool guy. Yeah, he did. I don't know about that mistake. I haven't talked to him about that. But if you say so, I believe you. Yeah, you definitely got— you don't want to hire too quick. You've got to slowly get it done. Let's see what you got. What else you got? I feel like anyone working for me would like steal our cash buyers list and start their own, or go home and lock up leads they found at work. Yeah, you know, a lot of what it takes to build a team is trust, and I know that's like hard to find people to trust. Like, right now, I'll just tell you, I was talking to my, one of my mentors this morning about like my employees that I have. Like, I don't micromanage them at all. I don't know what they're doing. Like, specifically right now, I trust them that they're gonna work and they're gonna produce. And a lot of them are— most of them are on commission. So like, if they don't produce, they don't get paid, or I don't get paid. So it's easy to kind of like manage that through KPIs. If they're not hitting their numbers. But yeah, you definitely, if you want to build a team, you got to build an environment of trust where, you know, you don't always have to micromanage them and be watching their screens and whatever the heck they're doing, because that's just, that's never gonna work if you feel like you got, like they might steal your leads. And actually, I did hire someone that unfortunately did that. He, you know, he took some leads we didn't know, and then we got a call from a title company in Colorado that was like, hey, 'Your LLC, like, did you— you opened up escrow at this, at our tile company, but we haven't heard from you.' And we're like, 'No, we never did that.' And then we ended up finding out that it was him that had taken our deal and was trying to close on himself. And then obviously we fired him. But, you know, I don't let that experience deter me from hiring. Like, you're gonna get some bad apples, you're gonna get some good apples. You just got to do your best to kind of run the background checks and see if they're legit. And yeah, so I don't know if that helps you, but yeah, if you really want to grow, you got to build an environment of trust and give people shots. And if it works, it works. And if not, you know, it's a learning experience. I mean, I failed a lot, a ton, a ton. I failed a lot. So, you know, there's going to be some failures, there's going to be some wins and losses. I gotta get my baby some wipes too. My wife said, hey, get the wipes if they're on sale. Are they on sale? Nah, they ain't on sale, but they go on sale a lot. So we got, we got, we got a pretty big, uh, a pretty big store, but I always check to see if they got them on the good deal. Um, let's see. And then we got, um Diapers aren't on sale. Guys, I'm always looking for the deals too. All right, we got my boy Fazian. I think that's how you say Fazan Khan. Nathan, can you make a video on what, uh, when tenant sue for, uh, BS reasons? Uh, tell me what you mean by that. I'm not sure what you mean by, um, when tenants sue. Like, you mean like tenants, like they're renting a place and they'll sue you? Is that what you mean? You gotta elaborate on that for me, my man. I've never been sued by a tenant. Usually tenants, like, what would they sue you about? Or would they— do they even have the money to sue you? Like, what would their— what would that be about? Yeah, let me know. And by the way, any questions you guys have, I'm just shopping at Costco right now. I got the gift card from my escrow officer, about to go roll her and give it to her. But, uh, just trying to pick up some stuff while we're here. Let's see. Oh, I need some yogurts. That's what I need. Um, do I have rentals? Yeah, so I, uh, I have some rentals. Yeah, I got North Salt Lake property. I had another one I just sold. I rent out, uh, I have a mother-in-law basement apartment, so I rent that out. So I don't, uh, luckily That's really nice because I don't have a mortgage payment because the rental, my mother-in-law basement takes care of that. So that's dope. But I will say that my strategy has not been getting rentals over the years. It's been wholesaling. I haven't kept a lot just because the goal is to just wholesale it or sell it and keep that money funding the business. So yeah, I don't know if that Hopefully that answers your question on, um, you know, do I have rentals. And then going back to Fazan, that's how you say it, um, yeah, elaborate on that for me, man. What do you mean by getting sued? All right, you know what, these, these yogurts have 90 calories. We're gonna— we're going for these bad boys. I don't know if you guys have ever had the Oikos yogurts, but they're pretty good. Right here. We're going for it. I've been chobani— I've been eating more chobanis recently, but Oikos, they don't have chobani right now. Costco, Costco ain't bringing— coming with the heat with the chobani, so had to go with Oikos. What's going on here? Is it— are they different or are they the same? No, they're the same. Mixed berry. I don't really like the mixed berry kind. I more like the, um, the vanilla and the strawberry, but the mixed berry, nah, not really feeling that. Um, let me— I'm gonna— I gotta check an app really quick to see what else my wife needs while I'm here. I want to— hopefully it doesn't like cut you guys off. Um, let me see. My wife had a list right here. Let's see. Hopefully— can you guys still hear me? Is it still recording? I gotta look at the shopping list right now. What else we got that my wife wants? Oh my gosh. Okay, sounds like I'm back. Oh my goodness, look at all those oats! $7, $8, let's freaking go! All day. About to get a sample right here. Hold on one second. What do we have here? Oh, I, I eat this every morning. Oh my goodness. What is— what's in it? Like water? Just water? Yeah, that's good. You know, stay healthy, right? Have a great day. Thank you. Love it. That's a lot of oats. For real, it is. Let's turn around and get some. That's my lady right there. She's dope. About to try some of these oats. Hi. All right, get my wife some tortillas because she wanted some dang tortillas. I don't see the dang tortillas. That's pretty good for not having any sugar. It's just straight water. Dang, I was gonna— I was thinking it was just gonna be boring. I usually put stuff in my oatmeal like a little creamer or something, sugar. Where are these dang tortillas? The problem with buying all these tortillas is you might not be able to eat them all in time before they go bad, so you got to freeze them. What do we got? Oh my dear, what is that? How many tortillas is that? That's 40. That's Don Julio. What is that, 48 tortillas? That's a lot. There's 40, 25. Oh my, okay, all right. We'll freeze half, we'll be fine. That's what the wife wanted. I got to get a roast too, and then I'm out of here. What do we got? I know that's a ton of tortillas. 48. I don't think I'll be able to eat all that. What has 100 teeth and holds back a big old monster? You got to tell me. I got another— I have no idea what you're talking about. Maple syrup and oatmeal, it's not a bad idea either. That sounds actually pretty dang good. Um, let's see, oatmeal, that's awesome. I can never find more than 10. Yeah, 48, get over to Costco, they, they'll give you enough tortillas for the rest of your life, for the rest of the year. Oh no, I go flour all day, flour tortilla without a doubt. I don't like corn tortillas. What has a hundred teeth and holds back a big old— wow, I can't— Mr. Number 7, that you said that on YouTube, I can't even put that out there. You're— what you said, that's, that's, that's too much, man. You out here making jokes. Okay, I gotta get a roast. What a teach. Man, you guys are using all this slang. Was it good though, number 7? It's actually— it's decent. I won't give it— I won't give you like— I'm just busting up chuckling. It's decent. It was all right. No, I mean, I'm trying to put you down, man. You keep believing in yourself and you keep working hard. Some hummus all day. Why not? Hummus and carrots, hummus and fruit, veggies. Gotta get it. You gotta get a roast and then we're out of here. So I gotta go deliver this thing, deliver this gift card. Yeah, I've never heard of a teach either. I don't know what that is. Okay, getting a roast and then we're out. Oh guys, I might have to try this sample out. What do we got here? What is it? Oh, I'm a big fan of shepherd's pie. Dang, that looks good. Haven't had lunch yet. That's really good. Shepherd's pie. Wow. You guys are broke, come over here to Costco and get some free samples. You have enough for lunch. Finish my oatmeal too. Pretty good. What other questions do you guys have? Dude, shepherd's pie is good for sure. CEO, what's your real name? Have we talked before? Because I just see the CEO on here. Oh, for real? You know, Nathan Payne's from Connecticut. He's from Danbury, Connecticut. He didn't know a lot about Costco either. When I was talking to him about how much I love Costco, he didn't get it. He was just like, what are you talking about? I'm like, bro, you don't know about that Costco life. Costco's like Well, depends. Like, if you don't eat it all, it's not cheaper, right? You're wasting all your money. Where the heck is the roast? That guy's out there. Where do I get a dang roast? Ribeye steak. Yeah, Nathan Payne. Yeah, he's from Danbury, Connecticut. Danbury, Connecticut. Go hit him up. Here we go. Beef eye round roast. $4.89 a pound. My goodness, that's like $24. That's not bad. What is that? Let's see, that's $27 for that. That doesn't seem too bad. My wife usually does the shopping, so this is a eye round roast, and this, this one over here is a beef round roast. I don't know the difference, to be honest. Don't matter, don't matter. We're getting this one. Let's rock. What state you in, bro? I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. That's where I'm at right now. I'm in Utah. You ever been to Utah? This is too busy for a Friday. I gotta get out of here. Check this out, there's too many people. I don't mind sharing the love of Costco and the wealth and the abundance with everybody, but I, uh, you know, when I'm going live— maybe I shouldn't be going live, but when you go live, it's hard to walk around with all these people here. Anyway, I'm done with my shopping, everybody. So, um, you haven't been to Utah skiing? Oh yeah, skiing and snowboarding, it's freaking money here. It's awesome. You do that, it's a great place to live. I'm not really that— I love skiing, but I haven't been doing it that much. I spend my time doing some other stuff like jiu-jitsu and working pretty much. I don't like— I haven't gone skiing a while, even though I think it's really fun. All right everybody, well I hope you enjoyed today hanging out with me while I get that gift card. I'm about to go deliver it to Christina. I'll probably do a follow-up video just showing you me getting there. Uh, won't be live, I'll just shoot a quick video, give it to her, and hopefully she likes it. All right everybody, heading out. Uh, if you like this, give it a like, share it, and if not, hey, appreciate you spending your time with me., and I might, might, I might, if I'm feeling froggy, I might go to the Costco food court, grab a sundae. Nah, I ain't gonna get a sundae. Maybe get— oh, they got a turkey Swiss sandwich. That's new. What in the world? They got double chocolate chunk cookies, 750 calories. That Costco— that, that turkey Swiss sandwich, I'd probably get it, but it's 900 calories. You trying to kill me? The hot dogs left, but nah, I got food at home. I'm not gonna do it. Later. Peace out, everybody. Good chopping it up, Pat. Talk to you later, man. Always a pleasure. Peace out, everybody.
