Wholesaling got your attention, but what do you do next? Let's talk about the reality of what wholesaling is and what it's not. I'll tell you something right now, wholesaling is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Unfortunately, for a lot of people, it takes them months and months and months to get their first deal. I got my first deal after cold calling for 2 months, but the cool thing about wholesaling is anyone can do it. You don't need a license, you don't need any money, you can get deals that are online, on the MLS, through networking. I just heard a podcast from this kid that just did his first deal just because he heard someone at work had a house and then he was able to wholesale and I think he made $15,000. So the cool thing about wholesaling is anybody can do it if you have the right paperwork. I want to tell you guys straight up that it's not easy to find deals. It's not always easy and it's not always easy to find buyers. That's why it's skilled work and you need to work hard at it. That's what wholesaling is. It's basically just finding a discounted property and then assigning to someone for a fee.
