A real estate investor explains why he wholesales instead of flipping. After two years wholesaling, he tried his first fix-and-flip but hated dealing with contractors and raising capital, so he went back to wholesaling, which he calls the easiest way to move deals.
I look at people who maybe don't know how to wholesale and I'm like, man, you're missing out. Oh, you're missing out because wholesaling is the easiest, smoothest way to off deals that don't fit your bigger strategies. Right, right, right. So, we start out with that being the main thing and I did too. I mean, if we go back to kind of like my story, I wholesaled for about 2 years before I touched my first fix and flip.
Was it, by the way, was that nerve-wracking to go from straight wholesaling?
I didn't want to do it. Yeah. I was like, I don't want to learn rehabbing. I don't want to deal with contractors. I don't want to raise money. I don't want to do all that. That's— I just want to kind of keep doing these wholesale deals.
