San Diego's military, aerospace, and chip industries could benefit from the new administration's infrastructure priorities. The Stargate program, a roughly $500 billion investment, could modernize energy systems and compress nuclear plant approvals from 20 years to 5 years, accelerating projects that favor local companies.
We have to spread the money across all 50 states to make a program work in the military, aerospace or other areas here. What does seem to benefit San Diego is the, the new administration's huge priority on infrastructure related to data centers and energy. So you know, stargate is this $500 billion moonshot. Honestly, I mean, it's like more money. I think I saw a stat that it's more money than what was spent on the space program, Apollo program to get to the moon. And with that means modernizing the energy system. So not just focus on nuclear, but all aspects. Every energy which I think benefits San Diego from a lot of our energy areas as well as the hardware, chip and other pieces of infrastructure. And so, you know, that's an area where they're spending a lot. Right. And theoretically might take regulation away to a approve technology faster. If it takes 20 years to get a new nuclear plant online, maybe they're going to cut it down to five years or something like that. Some of that, like the regulation cutting I think could benefit San Diego companies and therefore San Diego industry as well too.
