A short YouTube transcript of Dan Martell recounting mentoring a young man named Landon who wanted to start a high-end/luxury car detailing business. Despite adults telling Landon he was "too young" and wouldn't be trusted with clients' cars, Martell encouraged him, connected him with an experienced mentor in the space, and argued that working with wealthy clients would make Landon successful.
There was this kid Landon that came to my free mentorship program and he told me he wanted to start a business cleaning.
High end luxury.
Cars and everybody in his life said you're too young. Nobody's going to trust you with their cars. He's like, why not? And I literally sat him down.
Whatever you guys want to do, you guys can do it. I don't care what anybody says to you guys, you're not old enough. They're not going to take you seriously. You need to let them know Dan Martell said not to listen.
Those people are giving that advice because they couldn't figure it out. So when he told me that I connected him to guy and made sure that he got mentored by somebody amazing who's doing that. Landon's gonna be rich because he's working with rich people. Some kids are actually smart enough to know this but then the adults around them tell them they can.
