Why do you think most kids have a hard time in school? They don't know what the fucking point is. They don't know why they're there. They don't know why they're memorizing 12th century, blah, blah, blah, dumb detail. Like, imagine if every kid on the first day of school had to design a future life they wanted to live and somehow the school could communicate what they're about to go do for the next eight months was going to help them build that life. They would probably show up in a completely different headspace and desire. Have you heard any school ever doing that? No, and I just think that's what the kids struggle with. I don't want to read this. I don't get it. I don't know why I need to learn this. They don't say, hey, let's figure out what project you want to build during this class for this semester, and let's figure out how everything I teach you aligns to that project.
