Hi everyone, welcome back. You are moving into tenet 2 of Feeling Stuck, which focuses on psychological congruence. This is where you uncover who you are, how you show up, and creating alignment between the two. Think of psychological congruence as internal harmony. So please keep in mind that you might be in harmony in some sectors of self, but not in others. An example of disharmony you may have felt is probably from childhood. Maybe when you were younger, you know, in elementary school, you experienced this, you know, with other kids. They wanted to do something like a prank and you didn't feel it was right, but you went along with it anyway. I mean, certainly I've done things like that I remember as a kid. And by joining in, because that wasn't the real you, maybe you weren't as mischievous, you felt internal conflict. Well, as adults, The conflicts we feel naturally change because our values and beliefs shift with ages and stages of life, our environments, and sometimes the idea you're supposed to be a certain thing even if it doesn't really matter to you. So I'm going to ask you if the values and beliefs you do have align with the ones you think you should have. If they don't, your 3 selves are not experiencing psychological congruence. Which means you might feel conflict. Now you might be asking yourself, what are the 3 selves? Well, those are your higher self, your conscious mind, and your unconscious mind. Think of the higher self as the most connected part of self. It's sort of your soul level. It's that embodiment of who you are, whereas your conscious mind is your reasoning. And as a human, it's pretty fantastic, but also not, because we can reason and we can justify any action we want to. But is it in alignment with the other 2 selves? And the final self, the unconscious mind, it's that part of you which has been programmed with shifting values and beliefs since you were very little, mostly up until even the age of 8. And very often the unconscious mind carries baggage that holds people back. So in this tenet, you're gonna see examples of the 3 self-conversation conflict, We've all experienced it. It's when you throw up a bunch of excuses or justifications for things you say or do or choices that you make. There's an exercise in the workbook to help you identify occasions when fear, excuses, or limiting beliefs might have been a roadblock for you. And then midway into Tenet 2, I'm going to remind you of the importance of self-talk. Whether it's positive or it's negative, your unconscious mind is listening. If you say don't spill the coffee, you're probably going to spill the coffee, right? For example, do you most often, you know, speak in terms of possible or impossible when I talk about self-talk? It's an example, and there are plenty of exercises in the workbook to help you identify the language that you use most often because usually we don't even notice. And then as you move towards the end of the tenet, you're going to explore how to rewire your mind towards a filter of possibility and with a more positive outlook. These kinds of lessons are empowering because they help you realize you have the power to alter how you move through the world and what you feel like while you're doing it. Reshaping your mind requires time and repetition. It requires some patience. So to help you further, there's another exercise in the workbook to help you find positive language To help replace any current baggage or triggers that you might have. And when you feel like your 3 selves are in harmony, you feel more whole or complete inside. And by reaching that place, you're going to be better able to let things go that are holding you back and honor who you are and know how you show up matches who you actually are.
