Hey guys, welcome back. We are moving into tenet 3. Here is where we will take a look at your focus. So let's just cut to the chase. You have heard me talk about things you might need to start and stop doing, and to be most focused, that continues to be true. Removing distractions and prioritizing what needs to be done is absolutely essential if you want to be more productive, and we'll cover that in tenet 4. In this tenet, I will spend time explaining the Thought and Emotion Value Scale to help you eliminate tasks or projects that are low in meaning from your mind, even if you think you should be doing them. The clarity, the clarity assessment in the workbook is going to help you hash those items out in more detail and also help you let go of things you think you should be doing, even if it's not a priority right now. A common example for many people is getting in shape. You want You want to, you think you should, but you're not really ready for it. So it just dances through your mind, wasting time and energy. Um, you know, I imagine you, like many of us, have lost focus to other things that jumped into your mind or captured your attention during the day. Well, we're going to explore common distractions and how to mitigate them with things like time blocking and location anchoring. You are also going to get to take a look at where and when you are most organized and focused and attentive. This awareness will allow you to bring that successful tool you're currently using forward with you. Plus, you're going to find exercises to help you dive deeper and become clearer in those areas too. Basically, this tenet— you're looking at your distractions. You're using TEVS, the Thought and Emotion Value Scale, to help you decide where to put your energy. You're going to learn to prioritize and also discover new tools to help you stay on track. Frankly, I think this is a terrific straightforward tenet where you're going to get some great tips and be able to focus your day and as a result become more productive, which like I said, we're going to talk about in the next tenet.
