Hey friends, welcome back. Tenet 9 of Feeling Stuck explores what being a role model means, and it aims to help you understand what have been modeling experiences during your lifetime. Now let's talk about the importance of being a role model. It's not just about what you say, it's how you show up every day. And really, this entire book is about helping to empower you to show up as the most authentic version of yourself who you can be proud of. Guys, being a role model isn't a new concept. It starts at the very beginning of our lives. Babies learn everything around them by absorbing all of the actions, emotions, and language of the world around them. And guess what? You've been a role model from the start, influencing people whether you realize it or not. But here's the thing, are you showing up as the best version of yourself or the worst version of yourself? Both are modeling behavior. The goal for modeling is about being the best version of yourself and embracing positive attitudes, behaviors, and a growth mindset. The most fulfilled people are models of excellence because they exude confidence. They know who they are, and they inspire others just by being themselves. It's never about being perfect. It's about being grounded, aware, empowered. You've probably had role models in your life, whether it was a superhero or Maybe a teacher or somebody else who inspired you to be better or reach for more. This tenet is going to ask you to think about role models you've had in your life. What made them influential? Was it their character, their attitude, or maybe it was how they made you feel? And I want you to reflect on that because the companion workbook is gonna ask you where you would like to have more influence and what it is that you're gonna need to do in order to grow into that role. Remember, modeling is a shared experience. It's not always about the grand gestures. Sometimes it's just the ordinary displays of passion or consistency or sharing that leave a lasting impact. So be the person that someone looks up to and be open to growth through feedback.
