Speaker B argues that abundance is personal, not material, and that people often stay stuck because they unconsciously benefit from their situation. Stop making excuses and recognize you have the power to create the life you want.
It's all intense. It's different, different levels of intensity, but it's all intense for a lot of people right now. Sure. And taking the idea that we can change that dynamic, that we can actually focus On what we really want, what steps do you think that people could take in order to do that?
Well, the first step everybody needs to take is stop saying why they can't or why things just are how they are. I mean, I suppose that we all know somebody in our life who's lived a, by normal societal standards, a pretty beige life, and they're miserable. And I know it's a scary thing to realize that we all have the ability to be empowered. So there's some people who wish they could but don't know how. And there's other people who— there's something I call a secondary benefit. There's often a secondary benefit to not improving a situation or not changing a situation.
