You can digest every day with our daily 10 minute business lessons for the real world. I'm your host, your coach, your teacher Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of the $100 MBA, a complete business training and community online. And in today's episode you will learn how to convert more Sales with pricing page FAQs. When a visitor lands on your pricing page, they are interested in buying, you don't look at the price unless you're interested. Think about it. When you're at a department store, when you're in the grocery store, you don't look at the price of an item unless you're somewhat interested that there's a chance that you'll buy it. Now, when you look at that price, you're going to come up with some ideas in your head. Is it worth it? Is it too expensive? Is it too cheap? Can I get it somewhere else for cheaper? Is it as good as it looks? Your job as the business is to answer those questions for them right there on the pricing page with an FAQs area. This is a very effective way to convert more sales. A lot of times people are looking for a reason to buy, so give them the reasons why. Answer those questions that are in their head for them with an FAQ section on your pricing page. I'm gonna show you how. In today's lesson, let's get into it. Let's get down to business. For most websites that sell something online, whether it's a software, a course, a service, a product, whatever it is, the pricing page where they actually click to start buying is the number one page. People bounce, people leave. People leave your website or close the tab there. It's the moment of truth. And often if they leave, you've lost them forever. And it's mostly because they had a question in their head. They had a question about your product or the value that you offer, the price that you display. And you can easily reduce the number of people that leave your website on this page and have them check out instead with a simple FAQs area on the actual pricing page. Not a separate page for FAQs but specific FAQs for pricing. Now, I like to put the FAQs area right under the choices, you know, the buttons that you choose to check out right under where they see what comes with every plan or whatever product you're selling. They're gonna scroll down to read everything you have to offer. And if they see an FAQs area, they'll read it. Now I like to have six to eight frequently asked questions and you can have these sections collapse so it doesn't take that much room. So the question is there and then they can click on it and the answer can just open up as the answer expands under it. If you want to see an example of this, go to webinar ninja.com pricing and you'll see my FAQs area for our business webinar Ninja. Now, I know you might be thinking, well, I don't know what the most frequently asked questions are when it comes to pricing. Well, if you've been in business for any time, even in just a month, you had your website open, check your email, check your customer service tickets, I'm sure you have a good number of emails asking questions about your price, what's included, about being able to cancel, about comparing you to a competitor, about how easy it is to get started, or if they need to install something or there are any prerequisites to your course, things like that. And hey, the beauty is this is not permanent. You could change the FAQs. So even if you only have six questions in your inbox from six different customers, put those questions there and answer them for them right under the question. Now, if you're confused about what kind of questions, well, you need to look at questions where it's stopping them from buying. Like, do I need to install anything on my computer to get started with this software? That is sort of a hindrance. Wow, am I going to have to install something? Is that a long process? Do I have enough memory on my computer? All that kind of stuff? What's another hindrance? Fear that they're going to get locked in. Do you have a cancellation policy? Can I cancel any time? What about a refund policy? That's another FAQ where the answer to that question is in your favor. It's going to help you make the sale. The the answer is a sales pitch, really? What about changing things? What if I want to change my plan? What if I want to upgrade my plan? I'm not sure where I want to start right now. The answer to that question is going to help them get started. It's going to clear doubts, it's going to give them answers and say, hey, let's go for it, let's do this. But you might be saying, hey, Omar, what if I'm just getting started, I have no customers, I have no emails and I'm launching tomorrow and I want to put this FAQ section on my pricing page. What do I do? No problem. Email six to 10 people, you know, and send them a copy of your pricing page, even if it's not live. Send them the design, send them a, you know, PDF of it and say, hey, this is my pricing page. This is my product. What are the common questions that are coming up in your head as you look at this page? Ask them to give you Three or four questions. You can do this on social media, you can put this on Facebook, put on Twitter, hey, I'm launching tomorrow. I want to help people make the right buying decision. I want to, I want to write some FAQs on this page. What are some frequently asked questions you have in your mind when you look at this page, when you look at my product, when you look at the pricing, crowdsource. Crowdsource. The answers, the questions actually, in this case, for you, for your website. And remember, these FAQs may change as your product changes, as you evolve, as you grow, as you get more customers. And you can always edit them. It's just text. Even if you don't have a developer or a designer or somebody who's gonna make those collapsible menus, no problem. You don't have to do that. Most. My first version of the FAQs area was the question in bold and the answer in lighter font right under it. Not super fancy, but it did the job. Another great tip that you can do is have a little line under the FAQ that says, can't find the answers to a question that you have. Email us and we'll get back to you shortly with an answer. You know, just so you can get those answers out there. If you give them a way to contact you, whether it's your support email, your personal email, or even just give them a text field like a box where they can just fill in the question in the box and hit submit and then it comes to your email. That's brilliant. So even if they leave the site without buying, you can follow up later on because you can require them to give their email so you can reply to them. That way you have the contact. You could build a relationship and maybe even get on a call or a demo video to sell them your product. You want to take it even a step further. You can even record a short video along with the FAQ section that goes under that helps them choose which plan or sell them a little bit on the product, on the roi, on the investment, on, hey, this is what you're going to get with our product when you buy right now. This is the value you're going to get instantly. Need help choosing a plan? This is the plan we recommend you get started with. Worried about being locked in? Don't worry. You can cancel any time. You can shoot a short video, one to two minutes. It could be even under a minute. Be even better. So they actually watch the whole thing. And you can put that right below the FAQ area as well. You got them on the pricing page, so you want to maximize and capitalize as much as possible.

To wrap up today's lesson, having an FAQs section on your pricing page allows you to really answer the questions in your buyer's mind. You become like a mind reader, and that alone makes them feel like, hey, this product is for me. They get me. They know the questions in my head. They know what I'm thinking. I resonate with this product. It's subtle, but it works. My last tip is they don't have all your FAQs. Have an answer in the affirmative. Mix it up a little. Throw one in there that says, no, we don't do that. No, that's not the kind of product we are. This paints the picture that, hey, this product's not for everybody. It's for specific people, and we serve those specific people. And it gives a little taste of honesty to your page, and it balances, you know, the salesmanship of a pricing page. Well, there you have it. That's today's lesson. But today's episode's not over because it's free Ride Friday. I gotta give away a lifetime membership to ezcourse. Let's see who won this week's free ride. And the winner is. Macy690. That's the handle. Macy690 says new listener. Five stars. Hi Omar, John Kingston from Boston here. I love the $100 NBA show. I listen to your podcast every morning on the way to work. I only discovered your podcast two months ago. After listening to a few shows I decided to go back to episode one and now I'm listening to my way back up. Well, thanks Macy690 or John Kingston. You are our Freeride Friday winner. Your mission is to email me over at omar@100mba.net so I can hook you up with the free ride to ezcourse. It's that simple guys. If you want to win, just leave us an itunes rating and review and you enter our weekly random draw. Listen in on Friday to see if you won. It's our way to say thanks for leaving us love on itunes. Alright, before I go, I want to leave you with this. Your customers attention is gold. If you have their attention. If they're on the pricing page, they're interested. Capitalize as much as possible. Make it as easy as possible for them to say hey, I want to try this out. I want to buy. Give them as much information as you can. As long as the buy buttons are before the scroll or up top and then all the information like the FAQs, like the video, like everything else is below it. It gives them a chance to scroll down and really absorb all the information and make an informed decision and feel like hey, this company's got my back. They're answering questions before I get to ask them. There you go. Thank you so much for listening. I'll check you in Monday's episode. I'll see you then. Take care.
