I'm your host, your coach, your teacher Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of the Hundred Dollar mba, a complete business training and community online and today's episode is a Q and A Wednesday episode. On our Q and A Wednesday episodes, I answer a question from one of our listeners. That's you. If you have a question you want to ask, just email me over@omar00mba.net and I'll answer it right here on Q and A Wednesday. Today's question is from Barry and Barry asks, I sell physical goods. How would webinars work for my business? That's a good question Barry, and it's not such an uncommon question. I get asked this a lot in my live webinars when I run them for Webinar Ninja and I'm going to show specifically if you have a business that sells physical goods how you can leverage the power of webinars to to make more sales and make more business and grow your clientele. Not only get new customers, but sell your products to existing customers. Webinars have proven to be the highest converting tool online. 15% of people that watch a webinar at some point will buy from you. That's compelling and a good reason to explore it. And that's why I love Barry's question today. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business. Before I begin today's Q and A Wednesday's lesson, Barry's question about if webinars are a good fit for his business, given that he sells physical goods. If you're interested in the topic of webinars, I'm actually giving a live class on October 23rd. It's online and it's absolutely free. It's all about how to create an automated webinar system. You can Register@webinar ninja.com class. Again, you can register for this live class on building an automated webinar system@webinar ninja.com class all right, let's jump into today's answer to Q and A Wednesday. A lot of people think that webinars are only for digital goods software courses, coaching, consulting. But in fact, the the original webinar was built for physical goods, and physical goods perform really well on webinars. And when I say original webinar, I'm referring to the Home Shopping Network. I'm referring to qvc. We all grew up with those channels, or at least on the weekend or late at night, saw those infomercials where you're selling physical goods, whether it's a mop or the Ginsu knife or a tennis bracelet, people have been selling by the means of video for a long time. We just brought it online, and now it's called a webinar. So if you have a business barrier that sells physical goods, whether they're baseball cards, whether it's jewelry, whether it's stationary, whether it's clothing, whatever it is, show it off. You have a webcam if you want the best of the best webcam. I just got an amazing webcam. It's Logitech Brio. It broadcasts up to 4K. If you're looking for another great webcam that's a little less expensive. The Logitech C920 is also one of my favorites. Showing your products on a webcam or while talking about them, while explaining its benefits, while taking questions from the crowd, this is a fantastic way to sell your physical products. What's great about webinars is you can have timed offers in Webinar Ninja, we have timed offers right inside of Webinar Ninja Studio. You can have multiple offers. So you can sell multiple physical goods in a webinar. So you can kind of have a Time where they can buy this offer and then you move on to the next product. Just like those home shopping networks that have those special deals, selling physical goods on a webinar is really a great idea to transfer the experience of having that product, how it feels, how it smells, how it looks. All that stuff can be transferred through the description you're speaking about over the camera and displaying the product. If people buy things off images on ebay and on Amazon, you best believe they're going to buy things off video with voice and and interaction, live interaction back and forth. If it's a live webinar. If you're getting started, Barry, I highly recommend having your top five lineup, your top five best selling products for every month and running a webinar a month, a live one where you talk about these five products, you show them off on camera and it gives you a reason to touch base with not only your potential customers on your email list, but your existing customers, getting them to repurchase things from you. Reigniting your customer base is selling to people that have already proven that they like what you sell. So every month you can say these are the top five best sellers or these are the five newest products we have whatever you want to do, but have a top five and go through those five throughout the webinar. Take questions and you can spend about 10 minutes on each one. That's 50 minutes at least five minutes for me and Gri. In closing, there's your webinar. With physical goods, it's important to have good lighting. Whether you use a ring light for your desk or some three point lighting from Amazon. Or you may just need a really nice desk lamp where you can put your product on the desk and display it with your webcam. Depending on the size of your product. This all matters. So if you sell physical goods, Barry, webinars are prime time. My advice, give it a try, do it for a couple times, use it for a promotion, use it for Black Friday or your next big special deal for the holidays. Many of our webinar Ninja users are software users, sell physical goods on webinars and they continue to use webinar Ninja because they continue to do webinars because it's that successful for them and their business. Now I mentioned offers and timed offers earlier, but one of the great things about having an offer displayed right on the page is that you can give all the details of the product, whether it's size, whether it's how it's made, where it's made, the quality, the price, if they're shipping and handling costs. All that kind of stuff is easily seen right there on the webinar. And you can create a pipeline right inside of webinar Ninja that links to the checkout page. With this item in the cart, you can just link to any link on your website. Whatever you use for your online store or your physical store, whatever you use for your online store. This allows people to focus on the product, on what you're saying and they can see the details nice and easy right on the screen without having to ask questions like that in the chat. In the questions, they're going to ask you things. How to take care of this T shirt. You know how best to take care of it. Would it work for this occasion? Is this a good gift idea for X for for this person for this occasion? All these questions are buying questions. Great questions. They wouldn't be asking it if they weren't interested. And the only reason why they're asking it is because you've put the products in front of them, you've shown it to them, you've put them on camera and you've done the webinar. Webinars are awesome also because with a lot of physical goods, you want to show what the product really looks like. Especially if there's a differentiation between colors. Let's say, for example, you're selling a T shirt that comes in three different colors and you want to really show what kind of green that is, what kind of blue that is. Things look different on a still image versus a camera. And you can kind of shine the light on it, show it looks like when it falls on somebody's body, you know, when they're wearing it, it really adds value to the product. It really adds value to the experience. It clarifies what they're really buying rather than just a still image. This is why these shopping networks have done so well. This is why QVC is a multi billion dollar company. This is why infomercials are still a thing. So you have your own TV studio right on your computer that you can launch anytime you want. So I highly recommend you give it a try, Barry and sell your physical goods using webinars.

Edu Webinars are one of the most powerful marketing and sales tools online. So much so that when I started doing them, I loved them so much. I created a whole business around it. If you have a question you want to ask, just email me over at omar00mba.net so I can answer it right here on Q and A Wednesday. Before I go, I want to leave you with this Many of us shy away from being on camera, and the great thing about webinars is that you don't really need to be on camera. You can allow the product to be the whether it's physical or digital, and you can speak over the product using your voice. This is why a great microphone is really important. I highly recommend the Audio Technica 2100. It's a USB mic. It's fantastic. But I do recommend showing your face maybe at the start and at the end of your webinar. It builds a level of trust and rapport that's unmatched and greeting people at the start and saying goodbye at the end is very low pressure. Give it a try on your next webinar. Alright, I'll see you in tomorrow's episode. Until then, take care.
