I'm your host, your coach, your teacher Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of the $100 MBA, the Complete Business Training and Community Online. And in today's episode you will learn how to use automated webinars to sell your online course. In today's lesson I'm going to give you a step by step guide on how to leverage the power of an automated webinar to to generate leads and make sales for your online courses. There's a wrong way to do this, which is quite prevalent and a right way to do this. I'm going to show you the right steps without being sleazy or salesy. Automated webinars are a great way for you to build a relationship and build trust with your potential customer. It gives them a chance to see what they're going to get and if it's a good fit for them. Your job on the automated webinar is to give them all the information they need to make a decision. I'm gonna show you exactly how to do that in today's lesson. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business. To start Today's lesson I wanna talk about why automated webinars Automated webinars are a great way to sell anything that is reoccurring that's always available. If you have an online course that you sell and it's available to buy at any time, this is a great way to kind of start the funnel to get them from the state where they're like that sounds interesting. I wann more about that to Yep, this sounds good.
I want to buy.
What's great about automated webinars is that it's available whenever your audience member is ready to jump in and watch it. Shameless. Plug in our webinar software, Webinar Ninja. You can choose specific dates, they can watch it, or they can watch it immediately like a Watch now feature on demand. But all the strategies I'll be talking about today can be used no matter what software you use for your webinars. So let's get into it. Number one, the biggest mistake people make when it comes to automated webinars is not being transparent. Too many people try to fake that it's live. This is a huge no no. Again, remember the biggest reason why you're doing this. The whole point of creating this automated webinar is to build trust with your audience. And if you're breaking trust from the get go by lying to them, that's really what you're doing. You're deceiving them, making them think that this is live, whether it's with fake chat messages or as little as just not mentioning that it's not live. Me and my whole team at Webinar Ninja, we don't believe in that. We don't think that's a good move. We think that is really going to set you up for failure. Instead, you can earn a lot of trust by starting your automated webinar video by saying, hey, thanks for signing up for this automated webinar. Yep, it's automated. I recorded this video just for you because you're interested in checking out my course. So I'm going to give you a guided tour and give you all the information you need to find out if this course is right for you. Even though it's automated, it's going to be interactive. I'm going to ask you to answer some polls, I'm going to ask you some questions that you can answer and you can even submit a question and I'll be able to email you back an answer shortly. That's a totally different experience than somebody jumping on an automated webinar. And instead of paying attention to the content that you have on the video, they're trying to figure out what's going on here. Are these people really live? Is these chat messages real? Is the person on this live and talking directly to me? None of that will go on in the minds of your customers. If you're just honest and transparent with them. You'll build trust in an incredible way by doing this. And we found that all of our users that practice this see incredible results. Number two, you're going to record a separate video, then upload it for your automated webinar. This is pretty easy. You could just record it right on your computer. And you're just going to give a workshop about your online course. This is like a demo, right? This is like showing them around. But more importantly, you're going to show them how this course can benefit them. What are the results they're going to get? What's the end result? This will include maybe adding some case studies and some testimonials from past customers or students of your course. Now, be careful. This leads me, number three, the 8020 rule. You want to spend 80% of your time giving them useful information, like what the course is all about, what it covers, and maybe even give them a sample lesson where you explain the value of your course. Remember, this is like an audition. People want to find out if they want to learn from you, are you a good teacher, can you actually give them great value? And if you can give us some great nuggets in that automated webinar, it's going to validate their decision to buy you. Then you want to go through the whole course. What does include, what are you going to cover, and of course, the end results. Like I mentioned, that's the 80% part. 20% is when you present the offer, how much it costs, are there any bonuses, and if there's any time limits or deadlines. You also may want to go through some frequently asked questions in that 20% to answer some common rebuttals, like do you have a refund policy? Or is this program right for xyz? Or is there a payment plan? Even though this is automated, you can answer questions and you know the most common questions your customers ask. And don't forget to include a link to where they buy the offer. Right? And you display the offer with some slides and you're good to go. Sign off, thank them and wish them well. Hope to see them inside the course area. Right now, creating an automated webinar technically is actually quite simple. At least with our software it is. So I'm not really gonna talk about it, but if you're interested, just go to webinarninja.com and you can sign up for a free 14 day trial. It's gonna cost you anything, absolutely free. And it takes literally a minute to put together an automated webinar with our software. And if you need some help, our support team is there 247 to help you out. You can just jump on chat and they'll answer your questions. Now back to the content. Okay, you want to make sure that if you're promoting this course on your website, on your blog, that you promote this webinar. Say, hey, are you interested in this course? Watch my free automated webinar that walks you through and answers the question, is it a good fit for you? This allows you to capture an email because they're registering for a webinar and then you can follow up with them, remind them of the offer, and maybe even offer them something else that they may be interested in. Point here is that they get off your site and onto your email list, which is great. And this puts the wheels in motion. They sign up, they watch your webinar, they check out your offer, they get started with your course. Hey, Fidelity, how can I remember to invest every month?

We've all been there. You hold onto a coupon, hoping to cash it in at the store. But then you forget about it and suddenly you've got a mountain of useless expired coupons.
Do you think this one's still good?
Free milk.
Oh, mate, that expired in 1993.
Dang it.

Ooh, how about this one? Half off floppy disks.
Now you should try a bit of spring cleaning.
It feels good to save big. It feels good to Geico.
To wrap up today's lesson, automated webinars are a great way to showcase your online course. It also showcases you, especially if you're the teacher of the course. They want to see what kind of teacher you are. So giving them some great value, giving some great tips and nuggets while showing them around the course is really going to show your teaching style and if you're a likable person that they want to spend, you know, X amount of hours to learn from. We all remember when we had a boring teacher. When we had a teacher that was hard to listen to in high school or grade school, it made it so hard to learn. It made it so hard to pass the course. But if you can prove them otherwise with an automated webinar, hey, this teacher's all right. I like their style. I like the way they teach. It's clear. Sign me up. So automated webinars really act as an audition for you and allows you to really showcase your talents as well as what your product, your course offers them, what results are going to get, what's the return on their investment? You're going to put it out there and you're going to reap the benefits for months and even years to come. You don't need to do this webinar over and over. Now, of course, automated webinars are not a silver bullet. You know, live webinars will always convert higher just because of the interactivity and the perceived value of life. But automated webinars really serve a reoccurring product where people can find out more at any time they like. Thank you so much for listening and I'll check you in tomorrow's episode Freeride Friday. I'll see you then. Take care.
