I'm your host, your coach, your teacher Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of Webinar Ninja, an independent software company I started with my co founder back in 2014. And in today's lesson you will learn three email campaigns you can use to boost your sales. I wanna share with you today three types of different email campaigns that you can do this week as you start 2022 to generate more sales. Right now I am a big believer that Q1 should be your strongest quarter. You need that momentum. You need a lot of wins and sales and revenue to push you throughout the year. This is kind of where you set get some low hanging fruit, right? Let's get something quickly with these strategies. Now this works especially well if you have an email list you haven't really sold to in some time. When I say in some time, I'm talking about in the last month and this is usually the case when it comes off the holiday season. People maybe they've done a lot of promotion come Black Friday, maybe the beginning of December, but maybe it's been holidays. People people haven't really promoted that much and now it's time to reengage your list. Even if you did some massive types of promotions just a week ago, just time it out so that you can do these campaigns, one of them, two of them or all three of them to boost your sales. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business. Dear McDonald's, your breakfast menu fire tens across the board. I could be happy with anything even though I order the same thing every time. Thanks for not judging me. I'll try something new next time.

Email marketing is one of the best ways to make sales because you have access to people's inboxes. Email that we just can't ignore. We have to read it, we have to archive it, we have to do something with it. We can't just thumb through it like a newsfeed on social media. This is why conversion rates typically are higher off email marketing than any other source. But how you use a tool is just as important as the tool itself. So let's get into three email campaigns you can do to make more money this quarter. The first one is my tried and true. This one works. So. So, okay, if you do no campaigns but this one in the month of January, you will still get massive benefit. Okay? And this is called the reactivation email. Now warning, this email campaign is probably the most time consuming email campaign, okay? And I'll tell you why in a moment. But it is also the one that I found that converts the highest. This email campaign is targeted to people that have been on your list for some time but have not taken action. They haven't pulled the trigger, they haven't bought anything from you ever. They just haven't converted to a customer. So they've been on your newsletter, they've been reading your blog posts, they've been listening to your podcast episodes, but they just have not bought anything. This email is actually quite easy. So I literally just go into my email marketing software. Whether you're using Mailchimp or ConvertKit or whatever it is, and you're gonna send out a very, very short email. It has to be incredibly short. And I'll tell you why. The point of is to get them to respond to reply to you, okay? So they need to read it in order to reply to you. So if it's short and sweet, they will read it and they will feel compelled to reply. The thing about long emails is that people think that they're just being lectured to, they're being taught, they're being provided information. But if you have a short email with this type of phrasing that I'm going to share with you, it's going to compel them to to reply to your email. And this is where the extra time comes in. I'll tell you in a minute. First of all, big shout out to Dan Martell who taught me this technique, this email campaign called the Reactivation email. And what it is is that you're gonna send a very simple email that's incredibly personal. And what it is is really just a question. And you want a very simple subject line as if you are writing this email to a friend. Okay? So a subject line I like to use is quick question because I'm literally asking them a quick question. I write quick question in the subject line, all lowercase. And my email just says hello so and so or hey, so and so. And I just, you know, populate it with their name. And it's just a one line email that says quick question hyphen, are you still interested in running webinars? Question mark. So my company is all about webinars, my software company. And they're on my email list because they should be interested in webinars. But I'm emailing them because they have not converted to a customer. They haven't bought or become a member. And that's the email. Seriously, I just write quick question hyphen, are you still interested in running webinars? And I literally just sign off hyphen. Omar, that's it. You're going to feel compelled to write more and explain why and all that stuff. Don't. Would you do that with a friend? Most likely not. You're just seeing this sort of like a text message with quick message so you can get a quick reply. Because the more information you provide, the less likely they're gonna reply. So they're gonna feel like the ball's in their core and they need to reply. Don't say, hey, I'm asking this because I'm trying to find out if you still wanna be on my email list and if you wanna buy my product, I might wanna give you an offer. No. You might even feel compelled to say, reply to this email and let me know. That's a very marketing message. Don't do that. People know they can reply to emails, okay? They know how to use email. So keep it simple, short, sweet. Send it to everybody who hasn'. Now this is where the magic happens. They're going to reply. Make sure your reply to email on that email is your own email that goes into your inbox so that you can be able to reply. The first time I did this, I was incredibly overwhelmed with how many emails I got. But I just took a deep breath and realized I need to go through them. I literally had to go through like 300 plus emails. And the point here is that they're replying. You have a conversation now with somebody that has been on the fence for so long. So what happens here is that I just go through my email every day when I'm doing the reactivation email campaign. You know, I sent out the email and now I'm getting all these replies and I just reply to each email and say, oh, thanks for getting back to me. I read after they say, and most of them say, yes, I'm still interested. I just haven't done XYZ yet or I'm not ready because this, or I've been waiting for this. And I just basically coach them on email back and forth and I just say, oh, that's totally understandable. You're going to love this blog post that's going to help you out. By the way, I'm doing a live webinar next week that's going to walk you through the first steps of getting started. Is that something that you'd be interested in joining? And I get them to reply again, I want this conversation to go as long as possible. I want us to be pen pals, all right? I'm trying to build rapport and trust here and have some interaction. And then they reply and say, yeah, that sounds great. And I send them the invite link. You know, I send them the webinar link for you. It might be just going back and forth answering some simple questions. They may not know that they're simple questions. Right. They might say like, oh, I'm not sure if this is right for me. I do xyz and you reply to them. Hey, by the way, we have customers that are exactly in the same niche as you or do exactly what you do or have the same needs as you. These are the results and that gets them over the line and they buy. This is going to sound incredible, but I get a 40% conversion from non customer to customer with all the people that reply to that email. So roughly 300 email replies I got or 300 people replied to that email. At 120 people become customers from that. That's incredible. Now you can't do the reactivation email campaign every single day. I like to do it twice a year and it kind of cleans up my email list and lets me know, okay, anybody who did not reply. And I can create an automation in my email marketing. Softw no reply. And I put them in a separate list where it's just kind of like long term, slow buyer. And I'm kind of cautious of emailing them too much. But somebody who's warm, that's actually a buyer. Anybody who replied and still didn't buy, I want to make sure I treat them a little bit differently, I email a little bit more, I give them a little bit more content to get them over the fence. All right, that's email campaign number one. Email campaign number two, the three day sale. A lot of people think they need an occasion to have a sale, whether it's Christmas or Easter or Valentine's Day or whatever it is, right? No, you can create your own sale for your own reasons, like a customer loyalty sale or a community loyalty sale. So I like to do two different sales. One three day sale for our customers. So I'll be selling to my current customers, other products, other courses, other things. This one converts really well because they're already proven buyers and they're interested. And another three day sale for those who have not bought from me. And this is just, hey, thanks for being on our email list, being part of our community. We're running a three day sale for our community members. And this is actually so simple. For some reason we think the simple stuff doesn't work. But the reason why this work is that we all need a reason to buy. We need something to push us over the edge. Sometimes the pain of solving the problem is not strong enough. But, but once we have an opportunity, a reason we do buy. This is why so many companies like Amazon make a ton of cash on Prime Day, on Boxing Day, on Black Friday, Cyber Monday. Why? Because people see an opportunity, oh, I should buy now because it's on sale. I've been thinking about buying this product for some time. Now's the time to do it because I'm going to get a good deal. Give them a reason to buy, right? Some people need reason. Give them a reason. And this is literally an email campaign where I send five emails. The first email is letting them know, hey, the sale is going to start next week. I prime them up and then the second email is, hey, tomorrow is the day, the three day sale starts tomorrow. Get ready, here's what you're going to get in the offer. This is what the sale's all about. This is the discount, this is the, the deal, the bonuses, all that kind of stuff, right? Third email is day one. Fourth email, day two. You got it. Fifth email, day three. Right. And then you can add a couple more emails like last chance emails, last hour and that's it. You run it, you run a promotion for three days, that's it. But it gives people a reason to buy. Now what I like to do is I like to have an automated list that gets updated with my customers. So if Somebody buys a product from me or buys the offer, I like to tag them on my email list so that way I can filter out and not send the automation to anybody who's already bought. So if you don't know how to do this, just email or message or chat with your email marketing software, whether you're using, you know, Mailchimp or AWeber or ConvertKit or whatever it is, they should be able to help you with that. But the point here is, is that I don't like to email people my offers if they just took the offer. Okay. Sometimes I'm on other people's email list and I see this happen. I think this is kind of amateur, you know, you should be able to know who's bought. All right, so we have the reactivation email, we have the three day sale. What's the third one? Low ticket offer. Listen, some people are just not ready to buy your main offer. Whether it's your course or your coaching or your live event or whatever it is, they're not ready to invest that kind of money. Some people just don't buy because they're not ready financially to make that investment. But at the same time, they might be interested in what you got, but they need an offer that works for them. And you want this type of customer because once they get a taste of what you have to offer, they're gonna definitely buy your main flagship product. So I like to make a low ticket offer to those who don't buy my main offer. So say for example, you did a sale or you ran a webinar that sold your course or your training or whatever it is and they didn't buy. I want to email these people a low ticket offer. And one of my favorite low ticket offers is a challeng a live challenge. This could be a one day challenge, this is a two hour workshop, it could be a three day challenge. And basically these are paid webinars where you charge them for live training. A lot of our ninjas over at Webinar Ninja, our users do this all the time because it's such a great way to give value and connect with your audience. So they might run a workshop for two hours for $39. $39 is not a purchase. A lot of people will kind of hesitate about. It's pretty inexpensive. Or they'll run a three day challenge for $99. It's a fraction of the price of their normal product or course or offering. But it gets them through the door, it gets them becoming a buyer gets them over the interested customer to customer side of the fence. And this is super, super simple to set up. We have a paid webinar and a paid series webinar feature at Webinar Ninja. You could check it out over@webinarninja.com you can even sign up for our free plan and play around with all the different types of things you could do, look at our help articles, talk to our support team. But basically you're up and running and you're ready to launch your paid webinar or series in minutes. Really, where people can use your credit card. You get paid to offer your live training and the email campaign is just to invite them to that live training. I like to do three emails where it tells them a week before, two days before and the day before. And this gives them enough time to know, hey, this training is coming up because this is live. They need to put in their calendar and they need to go ahead and sign up and pay for it before you do the training. What's great about our software Webinar Ninja Shameless Plug is that we record and save the replay so that even if somebody misses it or comes late or leaves early, they have access to the replay and we email them the replay link automatically. And only those who paid have access to that replay, which is pretty brilliant. So this email campaign is to promote this live training. And what I like to do is I like to run this email campaign and this, you know, low ticket offer a few times a month actually, because I like to cater to different time zones. We have a global audience so I like to run one that is catered to the US audience, another one for Europe, another one for Asia and Asia.
