Hey oh. Welcome to the Hunter RVA show with you along the entrepreneurial journey every single day with our daily 10 minute business lessons for the real world. I'm your host, your coach, your teacher Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of Webinar Ninja, an independent software company. I started my co founder back in 2014 and today's episode is a must read episode. Today's must read is the Ultimate Jim Rohn Library by Jim Rohn. If you're unfamiliar with Jim Rohn, he's basically the father of modern day personal development. Some of the experts that you see today, like Tony Robbins, were students of Jim Rohn and this audiobook is the best of the best of his audio lectures and lessons. The best way I could describe this book is a solid foundation. This book reminds you of what makes the differences in your life, in your business, what really matters, what are the things you really need to work on on a regular basis to have the life you want. From how to invest your money to setting your goals to taking the steps to achieve them. What I love about Jim Rohn is that even though it's personal development, he's not preachy. He's teaching you from his own experiences and shares his own story along the way. I want to share with you in today's episode. My favorite takeaways from this book, some of its best insights and why you should read it too. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business.

Semaglutide injection 0.5 milligram, 1 milligram and 2 milligrams. It's really hard for me not to gush and overly praise Jim Rohn because I've learned so much from this man. He's helped me change and improve my mindset in so many ways in different parts of my life. When I was listening to this audiobook that you can buy on Audible, I felt incredibly grateful that this resource is even available to us for 10 $15. We have incredible access to incredible information that can literally change your and I am not exaggerating. Okay, I know a lot of people say that, use a lot of hyperbole, but this guy really knows this stuff and drills home. Like I mentioned, the fundamentals, the things you really need to get right in your life. I want to start by saying that there is actually a Do it Yourself workshop that's included in this book that's worth its price alone. It's a goal setting workshop and I actually did this at the end of last year. I highly recommend you take this workshop, you do the instructions that the book kind of goes through because it's incredibly valuable, yet so simple. One of the exercises that you do in this workshop, I'm not going to share the whole thing, but one of the things I found really impactful was he asked you to write down 50 things you want in your life in the next 10 years. This could be material things like a home. This could be experiences like going to Europe. This could be running a triathlon. This could be having a best selling book. Whatever it is, write it down. What was interesting is that it was a challenge to write 5050 things that is, you know, at the start you're like, oh, 50? I'm going to breeze through this. I got plenty of things I want in my life in the next 10 years. And you get to around 25, 26 and you're like, all right, I really, really need to get creative. And you push yourself to get down 50 on a piece of paper. But my takeaway from that exercise was you think that to get everything you want out of your life, it's going to take forever and so many things. But actually what you really care about, what you really want out of your life in the close to near Future, the next 10 years is not much, right? It's 25 or less things. So we really underestimate what we can get done in the long term, but overestimate what we can get done in the short term. And that's kind of the point of the exercise. And he goes through the exercise about how to achieve those 50 things, how to break them down into priority, how to kind of choose what to work on first, second, third, and break it down to what are you going to do about each of these things to get them accomplished. This is an incredible exercise. And again, like I said, worth the book alone. Now, how did I consume this audiobook? I actually listened to this book every morning. I spent about 15 to 20 minutes as I was eating my breakfast and listened to a portion of a chapter. This is a fantastic way to consume this book because you start your day with great inspiration, with great information. You kind of wire your brain in the right way with the right mindset, so your whole day is kind of really productive and positive. Now, what's great about this book is that it's 10 hours long, so you can easily re listen to this book and get something new every single time. You will be a little bit wiser. You'll have a little bit more experience in life. You're gonna get things you kind of missed along the way the first time around, maybe even the second time around. But more importantly, it's great to set yourself up with the right mindset, and mindset's a big part of this book. Some of Jim Rohn's famous quotes are, don't wish it was easier, wish you were better. Instead of saying, I can't afford that, say, how can I afford that? And also just rewiring your idea of how to become wealthy. And he boils it down in the book in a few ways, but this is the one that really resonated with me at the end of the day. Why are rich people rich? Now, obviously, there are edge cases. There are people that inherit wealth. They didn't earn it for some reason, but the majority of people that have earned their wealth, the reason why they earned it is because they add more value to the marketplace. The more value you add to the world, the more valuable you become. And people are willing to pay you for the value you add. It seems very simple, but that's the reality of the world. So if you want to be more valuable, you have to increase your value. This means constantly getting better, improving yourself through experiences, through reading, through trainings, through books like this. So this got me thinking, what are all the things I do on a regular basis? Does it allow me to be more valuable to the world, to the marketplace, but also to my family, to my friends, to the community at large? Because there are things you can do that can devalue you, like wasting time unnecessarily, like being negative, like not being supportive of others, not being positive. So in order for you to become wealthy and add more value to the marketplace, you have to become more valuable. Jim Rohn also shares some really great little tips along the way about how to form great habits, from taking notes to journaling, to having healthy debate, to surrounding yourself with the right people. Another hidden gem in this book is Jim Rohn's ability to tell stories and communicate. Sometimes I'm listening and I'm thinking, wow, this guy's a great storyteller. He really is able to drive his point home through a great story. How can I do that with my own work, with my communication, even on a personal level, like with my friends? How can I tell better stories to be a more engaging storyteller? But I think one of the most valuable things this book offers are brilliant questions to ask yourself. Are you doing this? Do you think this way? Do you feel this way? Why? What are some things you can do to improve that? These questions are really important because it forces yourself to come up with the solutions that are right for you. It forces you to think a little deeper instead of just saying, that's my life. And pretty much everything I learned in this book can be applied to your business, to your team, to your own business, family. And in fact, there were some moments recently in my business where I had to show some leadership. And I relied on some of the teachings that I learned in this book to do so. Jim Rohn is a fantastic teacher, one of the best I've seen. And I studied education all my life, was a teacher for 13 years in the classroom. Teach every day in my business on webinars. This is my bread and butter. And I haven't seen many teachers that are at his level. So you're in great hands with this audiobook.
