Thanks, Omar. Hey everybody. It's so great to be here. My name is Marie Louise and I'm Kerry.
Otto DeGranci. Thanks for joining us. Today we will be inviting you to evolve yourself consciously in your business. A well business requires a well human. So when you're well, you ripple that wellness into everything you touch. The question is, how well are you energetically, emotionally, spiritually and physically? Today we'll give you points of attention to assist your ability to activate a life where you as a person just choose to consciously evolve to evolve your business. You'll be walking away with four keys to unpack limiting and subconscious patterns that hold you back in your business and life. And you'll be introduced to five pillars from our Evolve Yourself programs to support this. So let's get into it. Marie.
Well, that's right, Kez. It serves to remember that there is one common element in all aspects of your life and that is you. And when we refer to you, we are Talking about the whole you, your body, your mind, your emotions, your energetics, and your spirit. Because these aspects of you all influence every environment you walk into. The idea with us at Evolve Yourself is if you get to know yourself, you can use all of those faculties of your incredible mind body instrument to serve your life experience. Just like if I learn how to use my iPhone and all the apps on it, I get the most out of it, right? Well, the body mind is the most advanced technology out there, and you can be the driver or be driven. What we see happening in the world are people being used by the faculties they've been born into. Anxieties, stress and overwhelm are caused because the user of the instrument doesn't know how to handle its engineering. I mean, how many times do you get entangled in emotions? They just swallow you up. Maybe one of your clients might trigger a space of anger and that ripples to your work colleague. Next thing you know, you're yelling at your partner. What about the energies or stages state that you carry? You might wake up feeling a little low. You take that state to work unmotivated and underwhelmed. It's really hard to shake it off. Totally dictated by the energetic state. What about if someone says something you don't agree with? How long does it take for you to get out of your head? It's really like all of these tendencies to take the person into a state of dictatorship, which then limit the growth of not only yourself, but your business. We can all relate to this, but it's not something we have to stay with. All of these hijacks is where you were ruled by those reflexes and subconscious patterns, and many limit or even hurt your experience or growth. The great asset of having a memory is now swallowing you up in regret, shame or guilt. The fantastic gift of imagination takes you into fear, angst and worry, not to mention your body. Then takes you to places you're trying to pull away from. Emotions. Well, they drive you into many pits of disease. The reflex of these tendencies is debilitating to the person's potential in business, home, and not to mention heart. But the good news is you have the availability to cultivate awareness and directly tune into the subconscious to give direction and momentum into spaces that serve your business. This is where evolving yourself evolves your business.
And to choose to evolve, you choose to bring the unconscious to the conscious and learn how to use the faculties you're born in. Now, many of us love a statistic to paint a picture. Statistics can change, but right now it's wild to think that the latest statistics show that 96% of yourself is operating subconsciously. So this means there is only 4% of your life of awareness that is conscious. So let's really consider that for a moment. 96% of what you think, say and do is unconscious. It really does leave a whole world within you to be explored. So unpacking the unconscious and elevating into the consciousness is where you become the driver of your business. Not created out of circumstance or just operating on autopilot, but being the actual pilot of your inner systems. Sounds pretty good to me, Marie. So let's take our listeners through the four keys to unpacking limiting subconscious patterns today.
Alrighty. Key number one. You have what's called the fight, flight or freeze response. This faculty is supposed to get you out of danger. And once out of danger, then the restorative and regenerative processes are supposed to kick in. But because you have those higher brain function capabilities that remember and think of the future, it gets you stuck in holding patterns within the system that are really sucking the life out of your well being. And when you get stuck in those patterns of fight, flight or freeze, well this then becomes your normal. You become a master at fight, flight or freeze. This activation shows up in ways of denial, arguments, illness, gut issues, physical and mental issues, freezing and a business business really can't have that. Self sabotage, not seeing new opportunities. Survival tendencies run consciously and unconsciously. Your key in number one is to learn how to switch off the fight, flight or freeze response. Your key number two is there is an aspect of your mind that is wired to be socially adept and fire and wire to the norm of its environment. This is a survival tendency, but not a thriving one. This reaction within the system keeps a sense of conformity and averageness. It is wired to fit in, behave and act like everyone else. It doesn't allow you to take risks, do something different, or even see what is necessary to thrive. The key for number two is to learn how to navigate your inner system so you do not get stuck in those energies of your environmental tendency to fit in. Key number three, we have the higher capabilities of mind which are super awesome. Imagination, creativity, innovation. These are extraordinary aspects of the instrument. But we are often dictated by these qualities and are taken to worry, fears and regrets. In business, it's a great thing to reflect, but you don't want to get hooked and drown in its reflection. The key to number three is to learn how to detach from the constant hijack and attachment to the thought and energetic Processes big key number four. You have this incredible vessel through which you experience life, your body. This apparatus is the storekeeper of all information. Collated throughout your moment to moment experiences every day. The stuff your ancestors and genetic patternings. It absorbs both toxic and life giving patterns. If you don't learn how to process this information or debris, these patterns will fire and wire and keep you in the past once again, same same. No space for innovation, new ideas, courage or action. Just the reflex of survival. The key for number four is to learn how to process the rubbish, cleanse and detox the body mind on a constant basis. To raise clarity and optimum moment experience. The cool thing about being human is we all have the awareness that we exist. And when you sit in that awareness, with some distance from your body, your emotions, your energetics, your mind, you bring alive the power of choice. This is where you start to use the instrument. Like you do a car. You steer it, you clean it, you know the best fuel for it. This is where it is the sustainable vehicle that can take you places in your business. You can use aspects of the brain body function to serve you rather than hurt you. This is the gift of being human. It's a game changer in any business.
Absolutely. And as an entrepreneur, you have the perfect environment to discover those subconscious patterns that run because they will show up in your business. It sure is confronting sometimes, right Marie? I mean we've both experienced it, but it is the coolest way, way to grow and flourish quickly when you make the conscious choice to inner evolve. So for a flourishing organization, you want to catch the patterns that don't serve and feed the patterns that do because they are your blind spots. And when you find a blind spot, you actually grow the most. And we've seen subconscious patterns show up in many ways. Self belief is a huge one. When a touch of self doubt triggers, you can spiral down into states of not thinking you're worthy of your business isn't good enough. It's hard to even turn up for your business. You become fearful of standing out and then you shrink. These mindsets are common in the human psyche that limits your overall functioning. Like lack denial, force and not enough. These all create shadows of limitation within yourself and of course in turn your business. Another goodie is the great imposter syndrome. This is another trigger of survival tendency. It activates comparison, which shifts your energy out there. Rather than working on your intention, comparison takes you to other people's worlds, consuming your mind. And then your inner critical kick in which gives momentum to biorhythms. That worsens how you feel and can block your actual ability to see your own worths and wins. All of these are reflexes of survival. And if you are in these survival tendencies, the highest states of creative solutions and innovation can't be seen. When held in survival, the body's chemistry of few bad chemicals such as cortisol and adrenaline get triggered. These guys really hurt your system and are a poison for that whole inner system that you've got going on. This then ripples into the culture of your work, family and your friends. So it's really well known that that investment in involving your business is a fundamental primary anchor to a business's success. So it does stand to reason that the exploration of evolving yourself is fundamental to your success. How? Great question. Consciously choose to take steps your inner evolution through consciousness based practices. Marie we practice these practices daily and it's how we keep consistent going. So can you really elaborate for our listeners on these five pillars?
Sure can, Kez. In all the programs we utilize the highly effective and efficient activations of the five pillars to unfold and evolve in. We draw in what works to transform inside out. Number one pillar is meditation. Develop yourself a meditation practice. We engage with activations that have been part of passed down through ancient tantric systems that are powerful activations in recalibrating, rewiring the way you see the world. They are varied, specific to the purpose of your intention. They are powerful at dismantling the subconscious mind. Pillar number two, the powerful activation of breath. This tool is one of those turbo transformers. These activations shift the nervous system quickly. It is a direct conversation to the root of belief. And conscious breath processes shape shift the wiring of the body mind organism. It purifies, untangles and literally shifts your vessel. You begin to talk to your inner intelligence. Then we've got pillar number three, movement. We do this one because of the sponge that the body is shifting the body in ways that squeeze that sponge is necessary. We suggest you to dive into practice that move the vessel. You then are actively rewiring and redesigning the default patterns of limitation and congestion. Movement, like yoga dance, shaking it, even jumping up and down can work. Anything that is outside your normal can support support the shift of those pathways. Then we have fabulous pillar number four, reflection and projection. This pillar brings on the awareness of the power of mind to consciously shape the future and dismantle the past. What we give attention to grows and cultivates. And if 96% is subconscious, it's important to start driving the projections in ways that serve your business using affirmations, gratitude, appreciation, visualization, journaling are awesome fundamentals in bringing this pillar alive. Then our pillar number five team is education. We are in the information age. There is no reason you should not know how your body on a physical physical aspect works. Being open to new information is where the pathways of your inner guidance can comprehend on a mind level and you then are guided by more than your mind. All of these will activate those four keys necessary in business to thrive. The cool thing is they ripple into your relationships, abundance, joy and overall life.

What an important and insightful lesson by Carrie and Marie from the Evolve Yourself Institute. If you want to learn more about how you can improve all aspects of yourself so you can be your best self for your business, check out EYI Global. When I listened to this lesson, I really started to think to myself. I looked back at the last week or even the last few weeks and thought to myself, you know what days were I not productive where I wasn't firing on all cylinders? When I was feeling sluggish, when I was feeling not at My best. And I would identify the day and I would think to myself, well, what was wrong there? You know, what was causing me to feel this way? Why do I feel like some days I'm just so productive and I'm on top of it and I got great ideas and I'm sharp and I'm ending the day with energy. What's different? It's really important to reflect because it can allow you to have more better days than not. And when I was reflecting, I thought to myself, well, one of those days, the night before, I didn't sleep very well. The other day, I was thinking about something that happened with my family. And I didn't really give myself the chance to absorb that information and really let it sink in and process. And I just kept on moving forward in my work and my life. And it was kind of in my background, in my head, so I really wasn't fully focused. And if I was completely honest, it was probably causing me a bit of anxiety because unprocessed emotions will kind of manifest, will come out somehow without any warning. And it might come out in terms of maybe getting frustrated in a meeting or maybe getting frustrated with yourself, not getting things done. And you start to realize this is actually an emotion that is not connected to what I'm doing right now. And one day I just reflected and I thought, in one of those days where I wasn't performing so well, had a lot to do with the fact that I didn't move that day. I didn't actually exercise. I didn't get steps in, I didn't go to the gym, I didn't maybe shoot some hoops with friends. My back was in knots. That's enough for you not to do well. So I'm just going to share something that I like to do that really allows me to have a little bit of balance in my life and kind of COVID my bases to make sure I have more better days than those that are not so great. I always mention that exercise is incredibly important. I like to have some form of exercise every day. And if I'm totally honest, some days I don't do it and I feel the effects. My goal is to do something every day, but if I miss one, I don't beat myself up. I just try to get back into it and the next day get into some sort of exercise. Even if it's going for a walk, even if it's a bike ride or, you know, going to the gym and just showing up to the gym and just doing the workout, that feels right. That day. Some stretches, maybe I don't want to think about things. I just go take a yoga class. Tell me what to do. Maybe it's a quick swim in a pool. The point here is that you need to move your body. Your body needs to do this so that you can feel better. No matter how tired I am in any given day, if I exercise, I feel better afterwards. If I force myself to do some sort of movement, I always feel better. I also like to incorporate some sort of meditation. You can call it reflection, you can call it alone time, whatever you want to do. But for me, it's not something really formal. I really just journal in the morning in my 5 minute journal or I write down what I'm grateful for. I write down a few things that I think would make today a win or a great day. Then I write an affirmation statement, something I need to tell myself, like everything's going to be okay or you are enough or happiness is a choice. Whatever I feel like I need to tell myself, if I was giving myself advice, if myself was somebody else, what would I do? I then spend a few minutes just outdoors in the morning, smelling some fresh air on the balcony and just having a bit of quiet time as I eat my breakfast. Super, super helpful. And then I start my day with just organizing what's important today, my to do list. I look at yesterday's list and this just allows me personally mentally to feel a sense of calm that I have the day organized before I start the day. I don't just jump into the day haphazardly and let my time be wasted by whatever comes my way. I like to be in control. So these three things are what I do. It really helps me get centered. That's what works for me. You might want to experiment and find out what works for you. And of course, if you want to get deeper, if you want to get some ideas from Carrie and Marie, go to their website at EYI Global. Thank you so much for listening to the $100 MBA show. It also gives you access to our over 1900 episodes in our archive so you can go back to our back catalog and gobble up all the lessons that are there. Before I go, I want to leave you with this. One of the things I'm becoming more and more conscious of is unplugging from the Internet. Unplugging from devices, unplugging from my phone. I like to have separate times during the day where I just do not look at that stuff. That could be at lunchtime, that could be in the morning. I don't like to look at my phone or anything like that until I actually officially start my day. I have my routine where I do my journal and I have that time alone in the morning to focus up and just have paper and pen to do my TO dos. The reason why I say that is because anytime you open up a device that has a window to the world, you're opening up the opportunity for people to change your mood, change your emotion, and if you don't control that, you're going to really be pushed around emotionally and really mentally too. So you have to really be like kind of a security guard when it comes to your mind and your emotions. When it comes to the Internet, you need to kind of block that off to allow yourself to have a good start, to have good moments in your day, to kind of just focus up and realign because you're very vulnerable in the morning to kind of just look at your phone and things like that. And it can really kind of skew your day, in my opinion. So just be mindful that you may want to take some breaks and just kind of have a no device time at certain times of the day that allow you to focus up and just allow you to take control of how the day is going to go and how you feel to start the day. Thanks so much for listening and I'll check you in tomorrow's episode. I'll see you then. Take care.
