Hey O. Welcome to the $100 MBA Show. Powerful business lessons you can count on every single day with our daily 10 minute business lessons for the real world. I'm your host, your coach, your teacher Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of Webinar Ninja, an independent software company I started with my co founder back in 2014. And in today's episode you will learn how to create and sell a product in a weekend. Yep. In a matter of few days you can create and sell a fully fledged product to sell to your audience. Now you might be thinking, Omar, how is this possible? How am I going to do all this work to craft a product just over the weekend? Well, you already created the product. You're just going to give access to other people for profit. I'll explain in today's episode how you don't need to reinvent the wheel. You don't need to create something fresh. There's lots of things you've created already that have value that you can put a price tag on and people will be happy to pay for it. I'll even show you how you can package it and sell it easily online with no hassles for you or your customers. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business.

A lot of people think that creating a product means I have to dedicate six months of work to put it all together. I'm here to say no. You can get something out the door in a weekend. There are valuable assets you have in your business that you've created already that you can share with other business owners that are trying to do the same thing. They're trying to accomplish certain goals or certain tasks that you have made easier for yourself already. Let me explain. Many people that are starting out in their business or really haven't gotten to a certain level in their business haven't done the work that you have already done. You might be a few steps ahead of somebody and those steps are what they need to learn. All you need to do is document it and share it with others. Let me give you a clear cut example. If you've ever hired somebody on your team, whether it's a part time hire, an executive assistant, a virtual assistant, whatever it might be, this is a valuable piece of information how you made this hire because there are people out there that have never hired anybody and would love to have a roadmap. So all you got to do is take a look of how you you did this. You might already have standard procedures already there. You might have assets like an application form you created with Google Forms which you can duplicate and share as a part of the product. You might have some interview questions that you've drafted in your notes. You might have a contract you put together. You might have an offer letter, email correspondence, things you've already done already to make this higher that you have now. These are things that other people are going to have to do and there's a lot of effort and it's daunting. You can give it to them on a silver platter and people will be happy to buy this template, this game plan, this roadmap, this framework to save themselves time, money, headache, and of course avoid mistakes. So how do you put this together to make this an actual product for sale? Well, it's simple. Think of anything that you've accomplished in your business with whether it's that hire I just mentioned, Maybe it's how you.
Created your logo or created your website.
Even if it's hiring the right people to build the website for you, that's a procedure people would love to learn, or maybe it's in the niche of your business. So for example, I might be a fashion stylist and I buy stylish clothes and I have some inside knowledge, things that I've just picked up over the years. Like maybe when my favorite brands run sales, what are my favorite brands? Which products are the best from those brands? What are some tips when it comes to sizing and buying these products? You get the point. There are things that you probably take for granted, things that you don't even think about that are in your bag, that are in your expertise, that you can share with other people because you've already worked it out and you'd save them so much time, money, headache. You get it. This is how you do it. Ask yourself, what is the thing that caused you the most headache or pain or problem? And you figured it out and you solved it and now you kind of forgot about it. So if we go back to the hiring example, when you make that first hire, there's a lot of things you gotta look out for. There's a lot of things that you have to prepare for and you kind of forgot about it. Like the job description, how'd you put the job description together, where did you post that job description, all that kind of stuff. Just remember and document all these things. It's literally a Google Doc you can write. And it's just a step by step game plan of how you have accomplished that procedure. You can then list a bunch of resources that go with this procedure. So in the example of making that first hire, you want to write down all the job sites you've posted it to, the tools you used to create the job description and the application form, and maybe even if they submitted a video, how did you ask them to do that? And then there's resources that you created, like the list of questions you asked them, or the contract you offered them, or the offer letter or whatever it is. So just take about an hour to 90 minutes to make this document. Now once you've made this document, this basically becomes a curriculum of a masterclass. You could sell a two hour masterclass for a good price, tag a hundred, two hundred dollars and share with everybody. This is how I pulled this off. I'm going to share with you how I made my first hire so you could do the same. I'm going to share with you all my resources, how I came up with all these resources. I'm going to give you templates. This is gold, people. And you can easily sell this masterclass using my software, Webinar Ninja. We offer a way for you to sell webinars. You can sell a live session, charge for it. People can pay with their credit card nice and easily. They register after they pay, they have access to the webinar. And guess what? They have access to the replay so it's recorded for them. So they can see the recording for as long as you allow them to have access to it. So that's another bonus of buying the masterclass. And by the way, you can sign up for a free trial for 14 days to set it all up at webinar ninja.com now you're going to take that Google Doc I talked about and you're going to convert that curriculum into slides. If you need a template for your slides for a masterclass or webinar, go ahead and ask for it. In our community inside of Webinar Ninja, we have a little community called Ninja Town. It's in the left menu. Just say, hey, where can I get the slide templates? And you can get them and download them for yourself. We also have a canva template for your slides if you'd like to use canva. So you're going to take that information and turn them into slides. So you have some visual aids when you teach in this masterclass. And basically what you're doing is just sharing your step by step process that you've outlined in the slides and then you're going to go ahead and share the resources. My advice is just duplicate any resources you have. Remove any personal information or any kind of sensitive information regarding that document, like people's names or numbers or whatever it is. Just have a blank template, save it with a different name and make it a public template that people can use or download. Or better yet, people that register for the webinar. You can just grab their emails inside of Webinar Ninja and give them access to only those emails. Create a separate Word document with all your resources and links. And this can literally just be a title that says resources and links and a list of links, resources, tips, things like that. Save as a PDF and then you can provide that inside of your masterclass. We have a handout feature where you can allow People to download PDFs and you can just upload it straight to Webinar Ninja and they can download it nice and easy. So as you can See, you just created a product in minimal time. You have a price point. People can buy, they can check out, it's easy. Now all you got to do is sell it. So one of the best things you can do is improve your registration page. Luckily, inside of our software, you can just go ahead and edit the registration page, make it your own, add your branding colors, add the bullet points of what they're going to get and learn and download and all the resources they're going to get. Add your bio. You can even add a video if you want. If you want to shoot a quick video to talk about what's so awesome about this masterclass and how you're going to save them so much time, money and energy and skip a few steps because you're doing all the work for them. The whole concept of today's lesson is you have things you've already done, share them with other people and you'll be surprised how willing people are to to buy. Procedures, templates, experience.

A lot of people think when they have to create a product, it has to be novel, it has to be original, it has to be something just unique. It doesn't. It actually just needs to be helpful. It needs to be valuable. And you're forgetting something. Your audience, the people that are subscribed to your email list, the people that follow you on social, they look up to you. They actually admire what you've done. And if they can get a piece of that, if they can learn the inside secrets or procedure that, that you've implemented, they feel like they got some inside baseball knowledge, like they're learning secrets that are not normally shared. This in itself has value. Now, if you're a little bit nervous about how to price this for your first product like this one, just price it at a price point. You feel comfortable. Even if that's just like $30, $19, whatever it is, just get the ball rolling and see the cash come in, right? You got to see the wins, you got to allow yourself to see, hey, there's value in this. People want to buy these things. Your first product or a product you make over the weekend doesn't need to be a $2,000 product, right? It could be an entry level product to get people on your email list to convert to buyers. Now they're buyers. Now they're getting value. Now they're getting used to paying for things that you offer so that when you offer something a little bit more expensive, they don't hesitate. They know that you can deliver. That wraps up today's lesson. Thank you so much for listening to the $100 NBA show. If you love what you hear, hit, subscribe, hit follow and leave us a rating and a review. We'd love to hear what you think of the show. Don't forget that when you subscribe or you follow on your favorite podcast app to the show, you get access to over 2,100 episodes. It's 2,100 episodes in our back catalog. Plenty to chew on. So go ahead and hit subscribe or follow right now. Before I go, I want to leave you with this. I'm a big believer that you have to understand that your audience is different. There's different kinds of people on your email list. There's people that are ready to buy a $2,000 product. Some people are ready to buy a $10 product. Some people are ready to Buy a $500 product.
Some.
Some people are going to buy a $10 product and then will buy a $500 a month later. But need that first step. Give them an entry level product. Give them a chance to fall in love with what you have to offer. Your style, your brand, what you're all about. Any product out there, any brand out there knows this. This is why Apple offers, you know, AirPods, watches, phones, laptops, desktops. There are levels to this. Create your levels in your business. Thanks so much for listening and I'll check you in tomorrow's episode. I'll see you then. Take care.
