Omar Zenhom breaks down three sales funnels that build trust and close deals: webinars with live demos and deadline pressure, email sequences that nurture for 48-72 hours before the ask, and private communities where you convert through one-on-one conversations for higher-ticket offers.

Let me tell you about Intuit QuickBooks. When I was starting out my business, I remember sitting at my desk late at night, not working on my business, but cleaning up numbers, tracking and reconciling payments and wondering how this became my life. But once I automated the admin side of things, of my finances, those nights had disappeared and I felt a whole lot better. Outdo it with Intuit QuickBooks. QuickBooks is the trusted end to end solution that businesses rely on for getting paid, managing finances, paying employees, finding new customers, and more. QuickBooks provides a team of AI agents and trusted experts, so doing it yourself no longer means doing it alone. Their payment agent gets you paid faster, their customer agent finds leads, follows up and secures more sales, and the accounting agent automates and categorizes transactions. Get your critical business jobs done with QuickBooks on the Intuit platform. Ready to save on new tech? I'm your host, your coach, your teacher, Omar Zenholm. I'm also the co founder of Webinar Ninja, an independent software company I started with my co founder back in 2014. And before we begin today's episode, a very special announcement. The $100 NBA show today moved over to Simplecast, our new podcast host. This is a part of our partnership with Sirius xm, the network that we work with, the network the podcast is a big part of. And the reason why I'm sharing this with you is because we've been working on this project for months. Moving over the show to Simple Cast, which is a part of SiriusXM and we just completed it and launched it today. Now for you, nothing really changes. You're gonna listen to the podcast just like you always do on your favorite podcast player. It's gonna be seamless. But what you can do for us, which would be a huge, huge favorite, is to make sure you subscribe or follow on your favorite podcast app. Make sure you do that right now, whether you're listening on Spotify or Apple podcasts or Stitcher Radio or Overcast. It doesn't matter what player you use, just make sure you're following us or subscribed to the show to get our next episodes automatically. This sends a signal to our host that our subscribers are still subscribed and you'll be doing me a huge personal favor to make sure everything went smoothly. And of course, we've tested everything out and we made sure of it. But by subscribing right now, it lets us know that we have all our subscribers prior to the migration. Thanks so much for that. So let's jump into today's lesson. In today's lesson, you will learn the three most effective sales funnels, in my opinion. Now, my opinion is based on my experiences, things that I've tried, things that have worked, things that I've seen actually convert in our industry, in our marketplace, in the online business world. And the reason why I narrowed it down to three is because there's too much out there. There's too much information out there. It's very confusing. There's so many ways you can lead your leads to a sale, but these are the three that I found that really work best. And I'm going to share them with you and break down the steps of each funnel for you. And you could choose to do one of them, all of them up to you. But you'll have the game plan on a silver platter. The reason why I love these three sales funnels is that it boils down to one thing. It's it really accelerates your ability to build trust with your audience. That's how a sale gets made. When people trust you and say, hey, you're worth a shot. Your product is worth a shot. There's gotta be a moment, there's gotta be a process where you earn your customers trust enough for them to say, let's buy. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business. Let's jump into the first of the three most effective sales funnels. And it's no surprise my absolute favorite sales funnel is a webinar funnel. Now, the webinar funnel, the steps that I'm going to share with you today, is the one I recommend to my close friends, the ones that I really want to see succeed. In fact, I just shared this funnel with a friend of mine, Andy Morgan, over@rippedbody.com great personal fitness website and coaching for men. If you're looking to get some personal coaching, shout out to Andy Morgan and I share this story with you because I know this works. And it's not the typical, you know, send your Email list to your live webinar and sell them on the live webinar. Honestly, that used to work very well in 20, 14, 15, 16, 17, maybe even 18. But things have changed. People need more time to understand what you have to offer. People want to make more of an educated decision. They have more options and you need to add elements to give them a reason to buy. Now, and I'm going to break it down for you. So my first funnel is a webinar funnel and it goes like this. The first part, and it's three parts in total of the funnel, is an automated webinar. Now with all these funnels, I'm going to share with you, I'm going to assume you already have the lead, meaning you already have people on your email list, you already have people that you can contact. This is selling your leads, your products or services for all these funnels. So let's make sure we know all three steps of the webinar funnel. The first step is an automated webinar. The whole point of the automated webinar is to build trust, is to give value so that people can see that you're an authority that you know you're talking about and what you're offering them. Your product, your service, your course, your coaching, your software, in my case, your book, whatever it might be, is worth their hard earned dollar. Now, I'm not actually selling the product on the automated webinar because again, I'm trying to sell myself or the brand and get to the point where they can trust me to start having a buying discussion. Now, my automated webinar I created with my software, Webinar Ninja. No surprise with an on demand type of automated webinar, meaning that they can watch it at any time. That means when they sign up, they can watch it immediately. They don't have to wait for a time and date. Now the reason why I do this is because I want them to consume this as soon as possible. And basically what I do on this webinar is I record a 20 to max 30 minute video on a topic that interests them, that will help them improve with my product. So for example, I sell webinar software. So I would talk about how to fill their webinars so they can get more people attending and therefore buying their products and services. That's like a workshop, right? I'm teaching them something valuable that they can use in the process. I'm also showing the software and showing how to use it and all that kind of stuff. I also show how our customers succeed with the software. What are some of the testimonials or some of the case studies? What are the success stories? What have people done with my product that made them so happy they signed up for the product? Now, at the end of the automated webinar, my call to action is very simple. I get them to sign up for my live webinar. Now this is very critical. When I ask them to sign up for my live webinar, I don't say, hey, just show up to the live webinar. I actually tell them, on this live webinar, I'm going to be demoing the product. I'm going to explain all the benefits and the features. I'm going to show you the price. I'm going to show you a special offer. I'm going to just flat out say, I'm selling on this webinar. If you want to buy a product, if you're shopping around for a webinar software and you want to get a demo, then sign up for this next live webinar. And every two weeks I have a live webinar scheduled. So at the end of the automated webinar, the call to action is, hey, if you want to keep learning, if you want to see how this product can help you out, sign up for the next live webinar. They go ahead and they sign up. At this point, I've built enough trust and they're signing up to see if it's a good fit for them. Now, on the actual live webinar, there's a second part of the funnel. I'm going to show them in detail how the product can help them, how it helped others, how you can use the product immediately to get a quick win. And this will work for any product, whether it's a book, whether it's a course, your coaching, a physical product. I basically spend this time on the webinar demoing the product and showing what's in it for them, how they can get a win quickly as well as long term. What can they get out of this product for days, months and years to come. On the actual webinar, I then make a special offer. I give them a special offer for just being on the webinar. This usually includes some special bonuses that I don't include. Normally. If they just buy on the website and this offer has a deadline, 48 hours, I often will also have a special special offer and give an extra bonus if they buy during the live webinar. So that's the second part of the funnel. I said there's three Parts. The third part incorporates a software called Deadline Funnel where basically I actually give that real deadline and the follow up emails that I send them after the webinar have a countdown timer to an offer page and when it goes to zero, the offer is over. It's a real deadline. This allows me to really have real scarcity and make a real offer, not just say this will end. And it doesn't really end. And what's great about the deadline funnel is those who miss the deadline, they go to the link and they see that the offer is over. They will not hesitate the next time you make an offer because they know your offers are real. So the combination of an automated webinar that leads to a live webinar demo to the deadline offer. The Deadline Funnel offer makes an incredible powerful trust building machine that generates sales off your leads. So I literally invite people on my email list or even on social media to my automated webinar and that just triggers the whole process. And you can build this all inside of Webinar Ninja and then you can incorporate Deadline Funnel with Webinar Ninja because we talk really nicely to each other. And of course your email marketing software that you choose. So that's the first sales funnel that I highly recommend is a webinar funnel with those steps. The second funnel that I highly recommend is an email funnel. An email funnel is exactly what it sounds like. I am nurturing and building trust with my audience through email to the point where then I then make an offer over email. And you guessed it, it ends with a deadline offer. Using deadline funnel, meaning that there is an offer that ends at a certain time. I like 72 to 48 hours to kind of COVID just in case it's a weekend or something like that. But the point here is that you're crafting email automations. These are automatic email that go out to your subscribers after they've been a subscriber for some point. So for example, I have one that sells a course called the Automated Webinar Challenge. Those who join my email list get added to an automation in my email marketing software, ConvertKit. Get your free account at100mba.net convertkit and they get a series of emails building a relationship with them and then eventually sending them to a page where they can watch a video about a topic about how to use automated webinars that then triggers a sequence to offer them my course, again with a deadline with an offer. In total, there's about seven or eight emails in the sequence. There's a few emails to build Trust to give them great content. There's that email to show them the video. There's another few emails following up about the end of the deadline. And every time somebody joins my email list, they enter this automation and get this offer. But they only get the offer once again because the offer ends. But this allows you to have a steady stream of new customers. Because every time, let's say every week you get 30 to 40 new subscribers. And let's say they enter this automation after being on your email list for a week. From the 30 to 40 subscribers, maybe you get a couple sales. So every week you get some automatic sales without even you having to do anything. You just created the emails in advance, set up the whole funnel, and it's all done. People still read emails. Email is still one of the highest converting ways to sell your products and services. As long as you're giving great content on your email list, people are going to open your emails. They're going to enjoy it. They're going to click on links, and if the majority of your emails are valuable, then they're going to enjoy and open your offers as well.

All right, we went through the webinar funnel, we went through the email funnel, and the third funnel is something that we've been using for the last year or so and I've seen utilized incredibly well online. And it's called a community funnel. What is this? This is inviting people to an online community. It could be a private community using some community software like Tribe or Circle, or it could simply just be a Facebook Group, a private Facebook group, which a lot of people do because it's free. Whenever anybody signs up to your email list or you're running ads or whatever it might be, you may want to invite them to join your free community. So it's just something automatic that they do. They just join the community. And in that community, five days a week, you are publishing a new piece of content. It could be an article, it could be a new training video, it could be an audio, it could be a shout out, it could be invite to a webinar. The point here is that you're publishing quality content, answering questions, helping out your community in this forum, in this group, on a regular basis. Now, where does the funnel come in? Well, when you are, let's say, recording a great video, a great training, a 20 minute training on a topic that you're in love with, that can help your audience, you can easily post a video, but in the comments say, hey, if you'd like to take action on the action items on this video, I have a worksheet. If you'd like a worksheet, just put in the chat below in the group, right below the post where the video is, worksheet please. And we'll DM you a worksheet. This allows you to get some opportunity to have a dialogue. Now, whether you're on Facebook, whether you're in a private community, you're going to see people posting. Worksheet please. Worksheet please. Worksheet please. You or your team members can then chat with them directly and say, hey, here's the worksheet. When you finish the worksheet and you finish the video, let us know how it goes and then you can start following up. How did this worksheet serve you? How did the video serve you? Let me know how you implemented it. Would you like further help with this? Would you like to come to our next webinar, next workshop or next event? Would you like to get on a call and see if one of our trainings or one of our products or services can help you? So if you're comfortable having one on one chats with people and quote, unquote, selling them on your products or services, this is a great funnel because this gives you direct access to the customer and is asynchronous, meaning you can send them a chat message and they can get back to you when they can, and vice versa. It's not like a phone call where you have to have an exact time to meet and could be a little bit of a pain for both Sides. So the basic structure of this funnel is get them in your community, post great content and trainings in this community, ask if they want a worksheet, send them a worksheet that relates to that video and that opens the door for you to have that sales conversation through DMs. This is absolutely brilliant, especially for high ticket coaching because it's worth it for you to have a 10 to 20 minute conversation on chat if you're closing a 5, 10, 15, $20,000 annual deal with a client and all you really need to do is to have five, six or seven conversations a week to have a very healthy business. This is also great for high ticket items because people have questions when they're about to spend a lot of money and the back and forth nature of chat allows them to have their questions addressed quickly and easily by you or your team. So there you have it. Webinar funnel, email funnel, and community funnel. Those are the three sales funnels I think are the most effective for any online business. Thanks so much for listening to the $100 MBA show. If you love what you hear, let us know. Give us a rating and review on Spotify and Apple podcasts. We'd love to hear from you. I read every single review and appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. Before I go, I want to leave you with this. One of the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make is they set up these funnels, whether they're email or webinars or communities, and they don't take time to maintain them or monitor their progress and their performance. You should be tracking all the data along the way. How many people sign up? How many people convert from one step to the next to the sale? What's the quality of this customer? How long does this customer last? How much do they spend? This will allow you to know how strong this funnel is working for you in your business so you can improve it or flat out just cancel and say this is not worth my time. So make sure you have a process to track the data and most softwares will give you this data that you're going to be using for these funnels. But make sure you have this so that you can improve and track and then improve some more on these funnels. Thanks again and I'll check you in tomorrow's episode for Friday. I'll see you then. I'll see you. Take care.
