In this short promotional video, Jellyfish CMO Kyle and CEO Andrew introduce the upcoming "5 to 9" podcast, slated for a January launch. The podcast will spotlight engineering, product, and technology leaders and explore what they do after the workday ends—focusing on personal hobbies, routines, and the non‑work side of leadership that keeps them sane. The hosts intersperse the announcement with quirky personal anecdotes from several team members (coffee rituals, gardening metaphors, dream‑inspired music aspirations) to illustrate the theme of life beyond the laptop. The trailer ends with a call‑to‑action encouraging viewers to watch for the January launch.

Hey everyone! I'm Kyle CMO at Jellyfish and I'm here with Andrew our CEO and co-founder and we wanted to take a hot second to tell you about something exciting that we're launching next month it's really about—
Wait wait whoa hey I gotta turn this let me talk about actually Kyle you know I'm really excited so I wanna piece of this right? So I know normally I'd be here or something serious to talk about Well, actually, this is serious. Look, it's been a complicated year for many of us all, and we want to do something to remind us about what it means to be a leader. That's way more than just the things we do in the office, the Zoom, the laptop. So we're doing a podcast called 5 to 9, all about engineering, product, and technology leaders, what we do after that laptop is closed.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. I was actually involved in this planning process, so I'm actually— I can't believe I'm asking this, but what do you mean after the laptop closes.
All right, good, good point. Reminder. Yeah, I gotta explain things.
We're excited. We're all excited.
I just got— yeah, I just got excited, right? Well, so the background of this is so many of us do really cool stuff, not just the leadership meeting, the retro, the crisis handling, the architecture, the budgeting, the trade-offs. It's actually all about the stuff we keep ourselves sane, the stuff that we make time for. Somehow after that last Zoom meeting is over. And gee, some of you, some of us, we do some crazy stuff, and it's cool. I'm excited. And we always forget to share this stuff, and that's what this is for.
So this is a half-caf. I have, um, an Ethiopian regular and a Kenyan decaf Swiss Water Process. I mix half and half every day, brewed in a Chemex. So I'm sure we'll get into more of that too.
I would say I'm sure there's a lot of like soil conditions and all sorts of stuff that it means it's not precisely the same. And, you know, the memory of youth is fickle, right? So, you know, who knows? Who knows if it's the perfect tomato? But certainly it's sort of the high I'm chasing.
I had this moment, I actually had like a series of dreams that like Peter Gabriel told me I should be a musician. Like, it was very strange. It was a very strange time.
Oh, totally normal stuff, Kyle. You don't do this? I can't say that I have smuggled plant seeds or spun records for thousands of people. But I can tell you that I'm super stoked for this and I cannot wait to listen. So all of you watching this video, wherever you're watching it, keep an eye out for the launch of 5 to 9 in January. And Andrew, do you want to say any last words?
