Life Mission Mastery: Create Your Weekly Rhythms for Lasting Impact #inspiredleadership #mission

Patrick Mosher from Wisdom for Humanity describes his three weekly practices: a blog post with video and challenge, a Wednesday Franciscan spirituality series, and one-on-one conversations with his network. He frames these rhythms as steps toward eldership and encourages others to build weekly practices tied to their life mission.

So I wanted to go through— you guys may not be aware of my business, and some people have asked me that. So I just wanted to go through my units of value that I have in my business for Wisdom for Humanity, just to, just to share those with folks. So if I look at daily, I'm going to go through rhythms. And I look at a daily rhythm. If I'm on a project, the project is my daily rhythm. Right now, I don't, I'm not on a project like, like we talk about projects. I have my own projects with Wisdom for Humanity. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about when I was at Purdue in the Daniels School, I had a job. And that was my daily, you know, I had to keep looking at that daily. Okay, so that's the daily part. Now, I'll just say this aloud with you guys. I have a luxury that you guys don't in some sense, is that I don't have to have a daily gig right now. So I'm not looking for the next big daily thing, which I'm very grateful that, you know, um, the universe has given me a life that I can actually give back in different ways. So you're gonna hear philanthropic stuff in here that you guys may not be at a stage yet to do that, but take some notes cuz this is a way to live into too. This is kind of to live into eldership. Is what I'm, I'm a budding elder. So weekly, um, you all get my Weekly Wisdom that gets produced out there. And, uh, it has a video in it, it has, um, a challenge, it has an inspirational quote, that kind of stuff. So I have the, I have that Weekly Wisdom that gets sent out. I could go over that in over time too, but that's a, that's a weekly blog post. Okay. The second weekly thing I have is I have a Wednesday night spirituality series. It's a Franciscan thing that we do. And I consider that a spiritual muscle. I started that during COVID It has about 20 people on it every week. And it crazily, it hasn't eroded membership. So people are still in it after 3, 4 years. Um, so I do that, and then I have— we— I call it weekly one-on-ones. And the weekly one-on-ones are off of, uh, my, uh, customer list, I guess. Paul, this is how I got you here, is that, you know, we started talking. My weekly one-on-ones, as I go out to, you know, LinkedIn and Facebook, I post stuff, I respond. Paul and I had lunch one time. What are you doing? What are you doing? We, we traded, and then all of a sudden he's on this call. So that's, that's the weekly one-on-ones. Now, what I don't do with that is I don't sell into that. I don't try to do that. I just, if people ask, I say, I got the stuff. You want to join? You can. So that's my weekly rhythm. I'd like you to think about your life mission and what your weekly rhythms are with that unit of value that you have.
