Purpose-Driven Legacy: How to Ensure Your Projects Live On Without You #leadership #legacy #purpose

I love that. So there's a couple things in there that, um, uh, I can resonate with. Um, part of my purpose statement, um, Sean and I have worked with Brendan Burchard, so we're very familiar with writing purpose statements. And, uh, one line in mine is it says to build authentic structures. And part of it is what you're saying is, is like This is— I want to build something that lasts beyond me. We've all been on projects where we do the thing and then we just know when we leave if this thing is going to flash out in a month. And it's like, and, you know, and some of us, you know, we've done these things, you know, it's like we've been there for like 17 months or something. You're like, oh, this thing is, it's just, it's just not going to do it, right? So I love what you're saying as part of this, like Then I don't leave, right? It's like, I— this is the thing, uh, you have to— this has to sustain. This engine has to live. And, and, and there's a, um— we're going to talk about that in the future sometime, about legacy. You're really talking about legacy, which is really cool, right? These things like go on beyond me. But it's these structures I like, you know, these engines. I like how you said that too. You're You're an analytic guy, so building these engines that last a long time, it's like, oh, that's so cool. So yeah, I think again, to your point, it's like, is it formulated yet? No. Is it in there? Oh, absolutely. It's in there. So it's all good. Cool.
