Today's topic is tools. We'll talk about tools. Uh, let me tell a story about that. So, uh, to go with, uh, that. So when I was starting up our sales talent solutions, and, um, I was the lead for this thing that didn't exist at Accenture. It just didn't exist. And so, uh, it's not like I had a framework or, you know, I didn't have anything. I had no foundation to work from, and I needed to create a global team, global lead. I'm a global lead in an organization that no one in the world knows who I am or what I do. Thank you. So, um, the important thing was here is to create a framework. I'm going to walk through some of these things, but a framework was my first pass at a tool. And so I created a pitch deck to evangelize not only clients but my ambassadors. So I created that pitch deck, and that pitch deck I pulled together was pretty rock and cool, I should say. So, um, I made up, um, what are the 8— no, 7 key performance objectives for any seller on the planet? Because I was doing sales talent. And when I made those KPOs up, I'd done research and stuff like that, but I made that up. But what I found out is that that resonated with my ambassadors. I talked to people who, who, uh, was do— who were doing sales talent work all over the world, and they'd go like, this is it, man. This is what I've been looking for. This is great. Oh, I can feed this. And then they go like, what's next? I'm like, uh, gimme the weekend. I'll figure out what goes underneath this cuz I don't really know. Um, but I did that, right? And so, so that was my whole thing. And then eventually about 5 years in, I got asked to present at a conference. And, uh, this goes a little bit to marketing too. The title of it was Cracking the Sales Talent Code. Oh man, that's so played, especially at a place like Accenture where we have a bunch of, you know, IT people. And Sean, coming from your background, right, that would play, right? Cracking code. I want to know the code. What's the code? It's like, oh, I've got it, let me share it with you. And I had these graphs, I had like 6 like curves, and I'd show at the beginning of the thing, here's the 6 curves that we're going to talk about. And they go like, oh, what are those curves? I think I know what that curve is, but what are the other curves? And so I'd walk through those things. Great way to talk about them. Okay, so today we're going to talk a little bit about what types of materials do you use to evangelize your community. What are the materials? What are the tools you use to evangelize your community? You got to be able to give it to them, right? You have to give them some tools, some ways to talk about it, because it's not about you delivering the message all the time. You got to put something in the hands of your people to evangelize the message.
