Patrick Mosher guides you through three questions to build your persistence story: what kept you moving forward, how does that differ from surface motivation, and what's your response when you get knocked down. He shares how he overcame shyness by targeting the hardest social interactions, not just one person.

We're gonna build your perseverance and endurance story, and we're gonna go through a number of questions, questions you should ask about this. And, and, you know, do this pretty fast because it should be like off the top of your head to craft the story. So, so first one is, what drove— what drove you to keep going? What was the driver? What drove you to keep going here? What drove you to keep going? You know, for me, you know, being so shy, it wasn't about talking to the prettiest girl in the room, although that was a driver. But it wasn't about the prettiest girl. I knew it wasn't that. It was about I need to be able to talk to somebody, and I needed to pick the target that was the hardest for me to do, and so I did that. But it wasn't about her. It was about the skill I wanted to build. So what drove that to keep going? When you got knocked down, what'd you go like? I'm gonna do this again. Got knocked down, I'm gonna do this again. What drove you to keep going? That's really important to have in your story.
