The Secret to Skill Development and Mastering Competencies: Finding the Right Coach for You #skills

All right, next C. Here we go. We're gonna go with this one. It's kind of similar to collaborators, coaches. What coach do you need? And I think about coach as building competency and deficiencies. So, so you need a coach. Now, coaches, like I said, collaborators, they're part of your business. You pay them, they volunteer for you, but they give you time. A coach, you pay, you pay them to coach you on something. It's very different than my opinion than a collaborator. So I'm a certified high performance coach. So is Sean. And so, and I think, Paul, you're a certified coach too of some sort, aren't you? Oh, I thought you were. Okay. So, so build competencies and deficiencies. So, you know, what, what do you, what do you need to build your skills in? They help you stay committed. They're accountability partners for you. And here's a, here's a thing with this. And so again, I think, Sean's familiar with this one. So, you know, when I first bought my CRM, my customer relationship management, which is Kajabi, everybody said, you know, oh, it's super easy. It's super easy. It's really easy. And people did it from stage. It's super easy. And then you started doing stuff and it was like, this, this is hard. It's really hard. And it took me about a year of just like rolling the ball up the hill and it was rolling back to my feet. And I finally, I was like, I need a coach. So I found a coach, but I didn't find just any coach. I didn't, I, what, what's good for me wasn't to find a coach that was supremely far ahead of me. I found somebody who was 6 months ahead of me. And so when I said, how come the, the, the audio doesn't work? He's like, I just did that 3 weeks ago. What you have to do is you got to get a different thing that has a different connector. I'm like, oh, that's so helpful, right? So, so I find a coach, you know, coaches could be really super more talented than you, but maybe they're not. Maybe they're just a little bit ahead of you. They help you be accountable too. So that's all good. So write down what coach do you need, what competency do you need, and then what coach do you need to build, to go find. Is it accountability? Do you need to be coached on, you know, learning about artificial intelligence? Do you need to be coached on online sales, marketing, technology stuff? I don't know, whatever it is, what do you need to coach?
