Paul Woodley says God knows your thoughts and past because he perceives time beyond human limits. He urges you to confess and submit, explaining that biblical confession means acknowledging your unrighteousness and believing in Jesus' resurrection. Confession is what God primarily expects from believers.
He already knows what you're thinking. He already knows what you're considering. He already knows what you've done because he knows the past from the future, future from the past. Come as you are. Submit to him and say, Lord— you see, the thing about working with God is what God wants out of us, he wants confession, right? Not only does the Bible say confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, right? In Romans 9:10. What the confession is, is basically it is a self-awareness that you are not righteous and that you need help. That's the, the big idea here.
