A sower plants good seed, but while he sleeps, an enemy sneaks in and sows weeds among it. The parable warns that spiritual enemies exploit your moments of rest to undermine the good work you're doing.
This man is throwing out seed. He's throwing out good seed. He's expecting a crop, a good crop, right? He goes rest on his labors, but the enemy is watching, right? The enemy is always watching us, and he's watching this man, and he's watching his workers. The enemy here sees that these guys just threw out seed into the field and took the opportunity when the men were sleeping to go into the field and sow weeds among the seed.
