Hey wise guys, Penny with Pennywise Coaching coming to you today from just outside of Fort Lauderdale as we're wrapping up an awesome 7-night cruise that we were able to take and celebrate our 25th anniversary. And we're so excited about the opportunity to do this and to save for it and have it paid and really enjoy the whole experience and not get crazy on doing every single thing or buying every drink, but still having a really nice time.
It's really been fun, and it's taken a change in mindset for both of us. Instead of going on a vacation and then trying to figure out how to pay for it after the fact, we get to dream and think about what we're doing as we're saving. We pay for it out front, and at the end it's great because it doesn't follow us home. The only things we bring home the memories, the good times we had, the relaxation, and we don't have to worry about, uh, about paying for it. And now we can start saving for our next vacation and dreaming about it.
Yeah, it's really been a reminder for us about the rewards that you get to have when you start getting smart with your money and you paid off your debt, and then you get to save for some really fun things. And we're looking forward to many more opportunities to have fun in the future Right now we're also still putting a couple kids through college, so this had to be after we saved for school. So it's not that we get to do this very often, which maybe makes us appreciate it that much more. But we just wanted to share with you that, that fun is possible when you work hard and you get the debt paid off and you have the opportunity to be intentional with your money. So that's what we're all about, is helping you learn how to be intentional with your money. And we hope that one day maybe you'll get to go on a cruise or a dream vacation that you're looking forward to someday. So So we'll keep it short. We just want to say hi and wish you well from, from the end of our trip, and we'll look forward to hearing from you and what's going on in your life soon.
