Hey Wise Guys, I was talking to a friend recently about her mother's passing and how expensive that last year and a half of home care was for her. And you know, the good thing is she had the money to take care of it and live life and die on her own terms. But the scary thing to me was to hear that it cost probably over $160,000 for the last year or so of her life, and that was with having family members that were able to be there a fair amount, but also hiring in-home care and all the things that come with that. Hospice will cover a lot, but a lot of that is on you. So I hope that as you're going through your life now, you're thinking about the end of your life and how expensive that can be, and being able to not only live life on your terms but die on your terms as well. Be wise.
