Peter Vander Wall argues there's no shortcut to success online. Making many videos leads to steady improvement, the 100th much better than the first. Consistency over time is what actually works.

People always want a cheat code to winning online. I want to go viral, I want to get more customers, blah blah blah blah. The only cheat code out there is consistency over a long enough time horizon. If you make a hundred videos, unless you're just a complete idiot, the hundredth video is going to be way better than the first. And so, depending on where you start out and how fast of a learner you are, the journey might be faster or slower for some people, but anyone can get there eventually.
