A short YouTube "life hack" by Peter Vander Wall advising professional service businesses to pay vendors early. The speaker argues that because late payments are common, consistently paying on time or early builds goodwill, making vendors more likely to do favors when problems arise.
This is a life hack. If you're a professional service business, okay, Always pay your vendors early. They're probably used to getting paid on time or probably late. Honestly, most of the time. We don't like to admit it, but it's super, super normal to get payments way after they're actually due, right? But if you can be the guy who always pays on time or even early, then your vendors are going to love you. If shit ever hits the fan where you need a favor, then they're going to be way more likely to provide that for you. If you're the guy who always pays early, give it a try. Let me know what happens.
