Here's how I optimize an Instagram profile for my client accounts and watch to the end because it doesn't matter how good your content is, if your profile sucks then your audience won't convert into paying customers. So first is the name. It should include either your name or your business name and what you do aside from your handle. The name is the only thing that's searchable on Instagram, so this is crucial. Next is your handle. It needs to be clear and easy to remember. Think about if someone asked you in person what your Instagram is, how easy would it be for you to actually tell them? Finally the bio. You should have three to four lines in your bio and it should go like this. So number one is what you do. Lines two and three are social proof showing that you know what you're doing. And then line four is a call to action telling people where to go next.
