When you're scaling, obviously starting out, a lot of you are probably still in kind of the day to day, like client delivery. Maybe you're like the tax strategist and you've got people who kind of prepare the returns but you still got to review them and you got to build the tax plans and for getting yourself out of this work, that comes over time and that comes as you grow the business. You get new money to be able to invest into people. But Dan Martel's got a really great framework here. It's from his book Buy Back youk Time. And he says to hire, to buy back your time, don't hire to grow the business. So you don't hire people to do things that you don't know how to do because you think that's the thing that's going to grow your business. You hire people to do the biggest thing that's on your plate that you don't need to be doing so that you can then spend your time growing the business.
