Here's a rule I follow when I'm creating video content that I think is going to help you stay sane if you're creating videos for the long haul. Now, I like to use the 8020 rule for video content. And what I mean by this is 80% of the videos are going to be a consistent formula. I'm going to talk about the concepts that my brand is built on. I'm going to use a consistent style and a consistent format, and I'm going to just keep doing that over a long period of time. The other 20% are videos that I can kind of experiment and have fun with. For me, those might be more lifestyle or vlog type videos. They might be talking about topics that aren't normally a part of my brand. And there's a couple benefits to doing doing this. Number one, you get a little bit of a break from talking about the same thing over and over and creating the same type of videos over and over. But number two, by experimenting and showing your personality through that other 20% of content, you're able to build a deeper relationship with your audience than you would otherwise build just doing the same thing over and over and over again.
