Peter Vander Wall moved from scripting full videos on random ideas to a structured system: 30-minute planning sessions on Wednesdays, filming Fridays in 1-2 hours, and choosing topics based on audience research and which past videos made money.

This is how I used to create content versus how I create content now. So I used to write down random ideas whenever I had them. I would script them word for word and then I'd film the content and kind of hope for the best, right? I hope my ideal client will actually see this. They'll like what they see and they'll want to buy from me. Now I sit down every Wednesday for about 30 minutes. In the morning I do a content planning session. I plan out about 10 to 15 content ideas and then film it Friday morning in about one or two hours. Now I can do this because a few months ago I spent about a week researching exactly what my ideal client wants to hear, what's going to activate them, them, what words I can use to attract them online. And so now I just pay attention to which videos make me the most money and I make more content like that.
