Here's how I come up with all of my online content. The first step is to find inspiration and there's this great book called Steal Like An Artist that talks about finding inspiration from other people's work and building off of it with your own twist. For example, I ran across this post from Samir Chaundry on LinkedIn. I thought it was interesting, so I decided to build off of it. And you can check out the last video to see that. Now the second step is to actually write the content. Now I use Notion for all of my content writing needs and this is the template that I walk through. First I'm going to write out the synopsis, just a high level overview of what I'm going to be talking about. Next, I'll link my resources, any video, articles or anything else that I'm using as inspiration. Finally, I'll write out the script. Now this goes through several phases. First I just get all my thoughts out onto the page. Then I organize them into a cohesive thought and finally I cut it down to fit the type of content I'm writing. Now the content is ready to film, so check out part two to see how I do that.
