This is a short spoken monologue (YouTube video "I HATE Disney") in which the speaker, Peter Vander Wall, states two main reasons for disliking Disney: (1) a claim that Disney has "gone woke" (not elaborated), and (2) a critique that Disney has "corporatized creativity," turning storytelling into a profit-driven formula that favors remakes and sequels over original narratives.

I hate Disney. And there's two main reasons for that. So number one is pretty obvious they've gone woke. I'm not really going to dig into that. That's not my area of expertise. But it's really disappointing to see. But number two is a little more complex, though. They've essentially corporatized creativity. What I mean by that is they've taken a creative process storytelling, and they've tried to make it into a science. This is why every Disney production these days is either a remake or a sequel. They found something that works with the original, and now they're trying to squeeze every dollar they can out of it, rather than just telling good stories like they used to. In other wor, creativity has taken the backseat to corporate interest. It's understandable, but it's not acceptable. And that's why.
