It's impossible to create deep relationships with your audience through TikTok. That's what some will tell you, and they might be right. But that has less to do with the platform and much more to do with the type of content you're creating. For example, Alex Hormozy has over half a million followers on TikTok, and he's achieved a level of recognition that's pretty much unmatched. Everyone knows the beard, the flannels, the cutoff shorts. But he's not known because of those things. He's known because those things are associated with an incredible amount of high value, real life content that he's just giving away for free. Compare this with the Trends accounts that have just, just millions of followers. You'll see them on your for you page or your Reels feed, but you don't get anything of value from them. So there's two lessons you need to take away from this. Number one, you can create a deep relationship with your audience basically anywhere online today. And number two, in order to do that, you need to give away free value that's going to actually impact the lives of your audience.
