Peter Vander Wall argues you need consistent lead flow first. It creates the margin to hire good people and build systems, which lets you actually leave the business. Fix lead flow, then everything else becomes possible.
If you want to get out of the day to day of your business, you have to fix your lead flow first. You see, systems don't build themselves. They take time and resources to build and they take people to run them. And so you need margin to invest into this. But margin only comes from consistent lead flow. And so the real move here is building a marketing engine that gives you the room to finally build the rest of the business. So you get new money coming in the door. Use that to hire the right people, you build systems around those people, and now you're out of the day to day.
