Short video contrasting traditional direct response marketing funnels with a 'social funnel system', arguing that direct-response funnels (ads → landing page → big ask like booking a call or purchase) perform poorly because they expose prospects only once and ask for a large commitment, so conversion rates are very low.

Now, real quickly, I just want to show you a traditional direct response marketing funnel and why I believe the social funnel system is a lot better. So with a traditional direct response marketing funnel, you're going to have a landing page, and the way you're going to get traffic to this landing page is through ads, right? So we might run an ad on, let's say, Facebook and send people to this landing page where you've got a link to book a call. Maybe you've got a lead form of some type or you've just got an add to cart to go ahead and buy your product or service. You're only getting in front of these people once and making this huge ask of, hey, spend money with me. And so this doesn't work super effectively because only an extremely small percentage of people are going to convert. It's almost like asking a girl to marry you on the first date.
