Peter Vander Wall argues that money amplifies who you already are: lazy people get lazier, generous people more generous. Build good habits and character now instead of waiting to be rich, because personal growth makes building wealth easier.
Money is not going to fix your problems. It's only going to amplify who you currently are. If you're lazy, money's just going to enable you to become lazier. But if you're a generous person, you're going to be ten times more generous when you have money. So stop saying, I'll do this or I'll work on this once I have a certain amount of money, because you're not going to do it. You need to work on yourself now. Start working out. Start working on your habits and your character now. And I bet you'll find it actually becomes easier to grow your business and grow your wealth as you grow into the person that you're meant to be.
