This is a disease in the accounting industry that these firms are relying solely on other people out there in the ether to send them business. I have spoken to literally 100 to 200 accounting firms in the past year just on our sales calls, and I cannot recall a single one that was not mainly getting their clients from referrals. And so I don't want to think of this as like, hey, we're doing okay, kind of cruising on referrals, and it would be nice to get something else in order. Like, this is the one thing that is going to prevent you from scaling. All of your other problems are almost certainly secondary to this one.
