Peter Vander Wall explains how to sell expensive services by casually mentioning them on a podcast. Ryan, a tax consultant, mentions his vetted one-on-one program in passing rather than pushing it directly, which creates exclusivity and drives interest from listeners.
Chapters
Generate leads from a podcast. And this is actually my personal favorite. It's called seeding, or more of a soft sell. And literally what this means is just mentioning this offer offhand in your podcast. I'll use my client Ryan as an example here. Right. So he's a tax consultant and he has never once done a call to action on his podcast for you to go sign up for his one on one consulting. Obviously, this is a very high ticket offer. It's expensive and there's a very rigorous vetting process to make sure only people who are super ready to buy and super high level real estate investors are actually even getting on sales calls with him. So what we do instead is we just seed this one on one consulting program. He'll be talking about some tax strategy and he'll mention offhand, you know, one of my one on one clients asked me this the other day, or this is how XYZ client was able to pay $0 in taxes on their real estate. Seeding an offer creates this sense of exclusivity around your offer, and that's just going to elevate the status of this offer in people's minds and make them want more information.
