Peter Vander Wall explains why prospects don't buy: they haven't had time to trust you yet. A short ad and video aren't enough. You need middle-of-funnel content that lets them research and vet your firm before any sales call.

If you've hired an agency before and you got some leads, but none of them actually bought from you, then you might simply have a lead nurture problem. So if all they saw was like a 30 second ad and then maybe a five minute video before they get on a call with you, they don't really know you or trust you. So you just need more content in the middle there to build trust before they talk to you. So what all of my accounting firms do differently is we build out a real customer journey. You don't just randomly buy super expensive stuff from an ad you see on the Internet. Right? Like you do research to make sure it's a good decision. And so we make customers feel like they're researching and vetting us, even while we're subtly influencing them towards buying from us. So, like if you remember Inception, where, you know, they're trying to put this idea in the guy's head, but they have to make him think that he came up with it himself, that's basically what we're doing to our customers, just in a way more ethical way.
